President’s Report
First of all I’d like to thank the
Minocqua Brewing Company for
h o s t i n g o u r K i c k o f f To
Snowmobiling Party and our
December Club Meeting.
The
slider buffet was very tastee!
A big thank you also goes out to
Bill Fricke and The Boathouse for
hosting our January Club
Meeting. The chili and sloppy joe
buffet really hit the spot on a very
cold day!
Our weekly club group rides are
off and running.
Larry and
Nancy Schum are coordinating
them and we ride on Thursdays.
The starting time is usually
10:30 AM. Every Monday I’ll be
posting information about the
upcoming week’s ride on the
Internet and our Facebook
Page. The first ride was 10
members strong and found us
enjoying lunch at the Boulder
Beer Bar.

Snowmobile Raffle Winners
Mike Hilbert of West Bend, WI
and his girlfriend Megan Sheeler
picked up the snowmobile on
Saturday at R & R Motorsports.
They’re avid snowmobilers and
own a couple of Cats.
The
couple, soon to be married,
greeted me clad in their Arctic
Cat snowmobile gear to pick-up
their new Arctic Cat snowmobile.
Mike told me that Megan’s
snowmobile is the older of the
two and he’s giving the new sled
to her.
They were able to do
some riding over the weekend
and Megan says:
“The
snowmobile is awesome and I
love riding it.” The 1st place prize
was supplied by R & R
motorsports and Randy Ryden,
the owner, was on hand to turn
over the key. The winning ticket
was sold at Sattler’s Bucksnort
Resort.
Chester Van De Hey of Menasha,
WI is the winner of the two place
Triton Trailer. On Saturday Tim
Meyer, the club member selling
the winning ticket, picked it up for
his friend. The 2nd place prize
was supplied by Tony and
Rochelle Priesgen.
Thank you everyone who
participated in this fundraising
event either by selling tickets or
purchasing tickets or both.

Trail Supervisor Report
In general, the trails are in fair to
excellent condition as you travel
from east to west in our trail
system.
The lack of snow is
causing trails winding through the
wooded areas to have a very thin
base. The best riding right now is
on Corridor Trail 10, west of
Squirrel Lake Rd and Corridor Trail
12, west of the intersection with
Trail 7. These conditions won’t
change much until we get more
snow.
