Functional Areas Operations Readiness & Assurance To manage the successful handover of a project to operations and ensure that the team has an established basis for optimised operations. Subsea System Surveillance To provide a single point of contact for all SURF (subsea, umbilicals, risers and flowlines) and pipeline issues. Inspection Technology & Management To identify the most appropriate and cost effective inspection technologies, quality control of inspection data and management of inspection campaigns. Fast Track Project Delivery Data Our approach: Providing our clients with multidisciplinary project teams at significant scale in combination with specialist, high-end, niche engineering services, as appropriate to the task at hand. Knowledge-sharing throughout our network of global offices Working as an integral part of a client team in-house, or providing support from the WGK project office Focus on building long-term client relationships Achievements: Dana Triton FPSO: Failure of single electrical power supply jumper. Estimated intervention and production shutdown cost was $20 million. Actual cost was $0.4 million. BP CATS Pipeline Repair: The CATS pipeline was damaged by a vessel anchor resulting in an immedate shutdown of 20% of the UK’s gas supply. WGK mobilised a 40 strong multidiscipline team within 24 hours and full operations were able to commence within 4 weeks. Apache Forties PL55 Pipeline Replacement: WGK carried out the project management and detailed design. The pipeline was replaced in 95 days maximising production uptime and safety. Integrity Management To provide a central point for review and monitoring of all subsea asset inspection and production data, including all subsea assets in order to highlight anomalies and understand system performance. Inspection, Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Engineering and Execution Management To select and define optimised IMR solutions to safely reduce offshore operations costs and downtime, and to execute all inspection, survey and intervention works. Management Support Systems To provide ready access to validated and updated asset information, data, documents and media. Supply Chain Management To ensure availability of properly management equipment, material and services in the most cost effective and ethical manner. Technical Assurance & Audit To provide an asset management system which ensures technical safety, regulatory compliance and production performance. Fast Track Project Delivery To optimise processes for fast track projects to reduce duplication, and therefore costs, and to significantly reduce the time to bring production to the market.
