WHAT IS THE COURSE LIKE?
The course is predominantly on grass, with
adverse camber, switchbacks and technical
turns. This mated with hurdles and stretches
of flat parkland make it super fast in the dry,
it will be more challenging if it is wet and
muddy, but you all love that kind of thing
anyway. The course also takes in the unique
feature of a tarmac Start/Finish and a nippy
climb up to the first corner on the hill. The
1.2 mile course will be fully taped and has a
barrier finishing straight, just like you see on
Sporza, it is Belgian baby
PIT AREA
The pits are a short distance from the Start area on the left hand side of the course.
WHERE ARE THE TOILETS AND CHANGING
There are public toilets at the pavilion, you can even get a hot shower if you want, put please do
not try washing your kit and shoes. The facility will be manned by Gary from the Council, speak
to him if you want to leave valuables in the lockers etc, facilities are open from 8am.
WHERE CAN I GET SOMETHING TO EAT?
The Gourmet Grill situated at the main car park do a range of hot and cold drinks and breakfast
rolls, burgers etc. The Rugby Club will open again as well serving Beers and Soft Drinks and a
Tea and Coffee stall from Middleden MTB Club should also be onsite, please support these guys
as they are onside with the Cyclocross event here in the park.
