Inventory made by the Ministry of Education 4 ESTABLISHMENT OF SENATI It was stablished by a Law, at the initiative of the National Society of Industries of Peru, in December 1961. Role: To train and prepare people for operational jobs for the manufacturing and maintenance industries. Industrial enterprises self-assigned a payment of a financial monthly contribution for the institution economic sustainability SENATI was stablished as an autonomous institution, privately managed, lead by a National Council formed mainly by industrial businessmen. 5 NEEDS THAT SENATI MUST FULFILL (According to the motives exposed in the law of establishment) 1. Induction to SENATI Calification in SENATI’s Educational Model Work experience in the field: Minimum 3 year Internships and technology training scholarships at national and international companies Knowledge of methodologies for practical learning group management Vocation of service Superior Technology Training from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia ADMINISTRATION, MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY CERTIFICATION SYSTEM The management of the professional training processes in SENATI is conducted with an integrated computer system, specialized in higher education. The Integrated Management System of SENATI is certified by the international standards ISO 9001: 2008 of Management Quality; ISO14001: 2004 of Enviromental Management; y OHSAS 18001:2007 of Management of Occupational Health and Security Current certification conducted by SGS Peru with national coverage, to allSENATI’s Regional Directions, for i) Training and Education Processes and ii) Program and Course Design processes. 20 EMPLOYERS AND COMPANIES PARTICIPATION AT SENATI’S OPERATION At DIRECTION processes -They are part of SENATI’s Nacional Council: 10 employers -They are part of SENATI’s Zonal Councils: 78 employers At SUPPORT processes -The contribute financially: 2,753 companies. SENATI IN FIGURES 2015 79,740 students enrolled in training programs. 64 technical and technological careers. 9,605 companies accepted trainees for practical learning (Dual Training) 14,000 graduates in 2015 91 % of the graduates set occupationally before 1 year. 82 Centers 22 98,6 % of the entrepreneurs are satisfied with the performance of the graduates. Design of the training offer according to the requirements for especific capacities (competences or skills), of productive activities of the environment.
