Glenn was born and raised in New Jersey where he met his wife Nancy. They were married in 1974 and began raising their family a year later. God has blessed them with four sons. They moved to Middlebury, Indiana in 1988. Glenn is a carpenter by trade. Their oldest son is Glenn’s partner in Dyksen & Sons Builders. 2016 marks the beginning of our 25th year of business. Glenn has been licensed to exhort in Classis Kalamazoo for the past seventeen years. It has been a blessing to him to be able to experience the growth of this spiritual gift that God brought to his attention 17 years ago. And next Sunday, January 3 we welcome Rev. Fritz Kruithof and Rev. David Armstrong to Heritage. They will be leading us in worship as Pastor Simon and family head north to visit family. Pastor Simon will be out of town from Saturday, December 26 until Wednesday, December 30. Local Christian band Trinity ftL will open the evening. Reserved tickets are $35, $40 and $45 in person at Wings Event Center plus a $1 per ticket fee. Online tickets will be charged a $5.50 per ticket fee as well as a $4.50 per order fee when using ticketmaster.com. Bethany has become a source of inspiration to millions through her story of determination, faith and hope. While surfing in 2003, she was attacked by a 14-foot tiger shark, which bit off her left arm and seemed to end her career as a rising surf star. She ultimately returned to—and was victorious in—professional surfing. Yes, its spelled ftL which stands for “for the Lord” Bethany Hamilton Fundraising Dinner, March 29: Join us at the Kalamazoo Country Club prior to the Wings event for dinner with Bethany.
