This 10-Year agreement has a total value of $3.3 billion and will give CSC the opportunity to pursue Airport Security Screening Task Order Awards nationwide. Under this award, CSC is eligible to be awarded passenger and baggage screening contracts at any of the hundreds of airports throughout the United States that are chosen or elect to use private screening companies. In its award notification with CSC, The Government noted it “...has determined that your proposal is one of the most highly rated proposals.” CSC is excited to bring its nearly five decades of crowd management and security screening operation experience to the aviation industry. DFW Airport DFW Airport American Airlines DFW Airport, TX - On June 6th, CSC began providing crowd management solutions for American Airlines at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport. CSC is proud to provide passenger support and queue line management at security checkpoints in the A, C, D & E terminals. “Anyone who travels today knows to build in extra time to get through the long lines at the security checkpoint, which can add stress to the travel experience. Here at American Airlines, we wanted to find a business partner that can work in partnership with American Airlines, the DFW airport, and the TSA to help resolve the problems our customers face in navigating security. We wanted a partner that can courteously engage our customers while preparing them for the security experience, as well as relieve the TSA of all non security related functions including: queue management, better communication, divesting prohibited items, and recomposing our customers belongings on the back side of security. This will allow the TSA officers to focus solely on security to speed up the processing time it takes to get through security, all while bringing back customer service and conversational interaction, turning a stressful portion of flying into a more professional, efficient process. Our customers have already commented on the positive change they see in DFW, and we are excited to continue to see the benefits we have seen in improving this portion of today’s airport experience. We will seek constant improvements in this partnership and look forward to our relationship with CSC.” - Joe Taney American Airlines V.P. DFW Hub Ops.
