ill Pincus was living in Lexington
and Lindsey Horseman was living in Indianapolis when a chance
encounter in Louisville brought
them together.
Lindsey was in Louisville for a funeral,
and Bill was in town for a wedding. Both
went out to Brendan’s after their respective
ceremonies, and while Lindsey was waiting
for friends to arrive, Bill walked in.
He stepped up to the bar, and there was
an instant attraction. However, when one of
Bill’s friends asked who Lindsey was, Bill
said she was his “future wife,” but the word
“future” was drowned out by the sound,
and all Lindsey heard was “wife.” Somehow
Lindsey had found herself married within
minutes of meeting Bill.
Lindsey was not amused. Bill later built
the nerve up to tell her he had meant to say
“future,” and she forgave him.
The two started dating and within a year,
Bill moved to Indianapolis to be with Lind-
sey. Later that year, they were engaged.
It was very important for them to have
their wedding in Louisville. They both have
family around the country in California,
New York, Cincinnati and all over Kentucky,
and they felt Louisville would be the perfect
place in the middle.
As a hairstylist, Lindsey has a pretty grueling schedule of all-day appointments. She
was not able to spend every day working on
the wedding, so she hired a wedding planner.
From the beginning, Lindsey and Bill
knew they wanted to have a fun, personal,
simple wedding that reflected their personalities. They wanted to join friends and family members and give the day a relaxed vibe.
They wrote their own vows, and Lindsey’s
cousin even got ordained and performed the
ceremony.
Lindsey and Bill were involved in every
detail of planning the wedding, they both
remained calm, even when the weather called
for rain. Luckily, the rain held off and it was
a perfect day.
After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, Lindsey
and Bill are living in Indianapolis.
