GREENPORT and the NORTH FORK

North America), visitors flock to Greenport for its vibrant restaurant scene, fast

venerable Claudio’s family restaurant to the contemporary Frisky Oyster,
Noah’s, North Fork Oyster Company, and Blue Canoe and Scrimshaw on the

PROPERTY INTRODUCTION
For many years, this property formerly known as the ‘Shady Lady Restaurant
and Inn’ was one of the top destinations on the North Fork. Local residents and
tourists would come for the fine indoor and outdoor dining, or to meet at the bar

THE MARKET
GREENPORT has become a major destination for tourists and Long
Islanders. From Greenport, ferries are available to some of New York’s other
tourist attractions such as Sag Harbor and Shelter Island. There are numerous
wineries along the North Fork, and golfing at Islands End Golf Course. The
restaurants are fabulous with the famous Claudio’s on the water serving as a
major attraction.
Greenport features several boutique type Inns and Hotels with room rates
typically ranging anywhere from $170 to $350 per night based on weekday
versus weekend and amenities offered.
THIS PROPERTY
had previously attracted numerous visitors to its
