HANNAHS FARM 5 EN-SUITE ROOMS 6 We have just opened a brand new range of stylish double en-suite rooms with tasteful decor and great facilities in a peaceful area of our site next to the Chapel Gallery, but just a 30-second stroll to our main quad. Each of the 10 rooms boast double doors either opening onto views down over the valley or onto the hillside behind. Several of these rooms are accessible to those with limited mobility and come complete with tea and coffee-making facilities and freeview TVs with built-in DVD players. EN-SUITE ROOMS From £40 per night 7 GLAMPING 8 We are delighted to introduce two amazing new tent cabin “glamping” units for those who fancy doing their camping in style. Sleeping six people and wheelchair accessible, each tent cabin boasts a large openplan lounge decorated in a rustic-chic style with a wonderful woodburning range for both warmth and cooking. As well as separate sleeping areas there is also a shower, toilet and utility area. The cabins have outside wooden balconies complete with rocking chairs to enjoy those spectacular views of the countryside. There are also gas stoves that can be used for cooking out in the open air. GLAMPING From £399 per week 9 ACCESSIBLE APARTMENT 10 We are really excited to offer a wonderful new accessible apartment right next to our Health and Wellbeing Centre with stunning views down over the Teign Valley. With three bedrooms and a sofa bed in the spacious living room, the apartment can sleep between five and seven people. The accommodation also features a shower and bath, as well as a dining and kitchen area which is fully wheelchair accessible. There is also a private patio area set right in the heart of our fascinating and colourful horticulture project, which runs alongside the apartment. This is an exciting addition to the accommodation on offer here at Hannahs and is located in a wonderfully quiet, relaxing and beautiful area of our site. ACCESSIBLE APARTMENT From £366 per week 11 UPPER EAST 12 Directly above Hannahs Bistro we have a handful of comfortable double rooms, with shared bathroom facilities and several with delightful views across the quad. These rooms provide an affordable and convenient place to stay right in the heart of the action. UPPER EAST From £40 per night 13 ADVENTURE HOSTEL Hannahs Adventure Hostel offers 12 simple rooms, perfect for people looking for somewhere inexpensive to rest their heads after a busy day exploring the area. The rooms come complete with fresh bedding, while the hostel itself also features communal showers and toilets, a common room area, and a fully equipped kitchen. • Single Room: £20 • Twin/bunk bed Room : £30 14 The hostel makes a perfect base for a wide range of tourism and adventure activities including walking, cycling, canoeing, rock climbing, wild swimming and horse riding. IN A SPIN Hire a mountain bike here at Hannahs or perhaps a powerassisted cycle from Dartmoor Electric bikes (www.highdart. co.uk/electric-bikes) and explore the surrounding countryside or one of the many cycle routes in the vicinity (www.cycledevon.info). MAKE A SPLASH Several companies offer canoe and kayak hire and lessons, while the River Dart on Dartmoor boasts some of the best mid-grade white water in the UK (www.dartmoor.co.uk). WILD THING The area is saturated with wild swimming potential, from the rivers of Dartmoor to the beaches of the English Riviera. ON THE HOOF The rolling Devon countryside make a stunning location for horse riding and there are dozens of stables in the local area, while we even have therapeutic horsemanship onsite (www.sironacic.com). CAMP MAWAZO Camp Mawazo is our on-site outdoor pursuits centre that offers everything from archery to mountain biking and laser combat to bush craft. (www.discoversealehayne.org). CALMER WITH A LLAMA For something completely different, why not enjoy a leisurely walk across Dartmoor with a Llama, stopping for lunch and a cream tea along the way! (www.dartmoorlllamawalks.co.uk) Hay Tor - 7.1 miles One of the most iconic and popular places to visit on Dartmoor. The nearby quarry provided granite to build London bridge, while a climb to the summit offers spectacular views across Devon. Princetown - 17.9 miles The highest town on Dartmoor is the atmospheric home of Dartmoor prison and was where Conan Doyle wrote The Hound of the Baskervilles. The drive up is spectacular. Newton Abbot - 3.4 miles A lively bustling market town, with one of the country’s leading summer jump racecourses and a railway station linking the Westcountry to the rest of the UK. A380 Teignmouth - 8.3 miles Just one stop from Newton Abbot by train, enjoy wonderful red sand beaches, the iconic pier and a short picturesque ferry boat over to trendy Shaldon. A38 Ashburton - 5.7 miles A charming small town on the edge of Dartmoor, with quirky individual shops and some great pubs, wine bars and restaurants. Bovey Tracey - 5.7 Miles A pretty cob and granite built town and home to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, the House of Marbles and the annual contemporary craft fair. Hannahs at Seale-Hayne Torquay - 10.8 miles Boasting 22 miles of stunning coastline, and 18 beaches the English Riviera is also home to Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village and numerous boat trips. PERFECTLY PLACED Buckfastleigh - 9.2 miles A small market town and home to Buckfast Abbey, a butterfly farm and otter sanctuary and the delightful South Devon Steam Railway. A385 Totnes - 11.2 miles This bohemian town on the banks of the River Dart is a thriving centre for art, music, theatre and natural health and is packed with quirky shops and lively bars and bistros. Dartmouth - 25.4 miles Dartmouth can be reached by boat from Totnes and Torbay, or by steam train from Paignton and is a fascinating port and home to the Dartmouth Royal Naval College. 23 FOOD & DRINK 24 The Bistro at Hannahs is a great place to visit during your stay, whether you fancy a hearty breakfast, a delicious lunch, a delightful afternoon tea with our homebaked cakes or a sociable supper in the evening. Our talented chefs work with local, seasonal produce, supporting local businesses where possible, while our mouthwatering salads usually come straight from our own potager garden. If you are looking for something a bit more special, The Supper Rooms are our private dining spaces, while you are always welcome to enjoy a cheeky tipple in our Wine Bar.
