Meet... at hannahs The Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, or Hannahs as we are known, is a pioneering charity that has worked with and championed, disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities for more than 230 years. A unique destination...with a twist Seale-Hayne is set in 90 acres of stunning Devon countryside and, as well as providing opportunities for people with disabilities, it is also the only social enterprise of its kind in the UK with all the proceeds from its activities, including conferencing, coming back into the charity. We don’t stand on ceremony but we do promise the warmest welcome, great food in a stunning location and all at affordable prices, as well as: Edwardian Quadrangle Stunning setting Range of spaces to suit most requirements Fully accessible site Free parking Wi-Fi Team building events on site Excellent train links But that’s not all.... As well as our inspirational surroundings, as a charity we are able to offer Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) volunteering opportunities on site as part of your package. ABOUT US An inspirational charity OLD LIBRARY “Quiet, relaxed and informal meeting space, surrounded by Seale-Hayne memorabilia from its college days.” CORNISH ROOM Peaceful room with wood panelling, parquet flooring and a tiled fireplace ideal for board meetings or training sessions. Located next to the Old Library which can serve as a breakout room if required. COMMON ROOM “A wonderful place to be able to greet our guests on arrival.” QUEENS ROOM Perfect for the larger meeting or conference with formal wood panelling. REFECTORY Suited to large dinners and conferences, weddings, parties and special occasions. Stunning views across Dartmoor and there is an added option of a bar and dancefloor. GREAT HALL As a large open venue with high ceilings, the Great Hall is a multi-functional space providing a light and airy venue for conferences, exhibitions, yoga retreats and performances. YELLOW ROOMS Seale-Hayne’s live music venue has top of the range sound and lighting, fully-stocked bars and comfortable, quieter areas with live feed showing the on-stage action. The stage can accommodate up to 15 musicians and dressing rooms are available. HAYTER HAMES “The Lecture Theatre, with its comfortable tiered seating and large screen, was a great venue for our training day. The Demo Room next door provided the perfect break out room for lunch.” SUPPER ROOMS “Unusual and inspirational dining space ideal for private family celebrations and small meetings.” BISTRO & LOWER EAST With traditional wood panelling, open fireplace and beautiful views out onto the Quadrangle, the Bistro provides a stunning, yet cosy setting. Located next to the Bistro within the main building, Lower East is ideally suited for residential or larger numbers of conference delegates. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING a plate... I would really recommend joining in at Hannahs, you won’t regret it!” HOW TO GET HERE Hannahs at Seale-Hayne Committed to sustainable travel... Onsite we have access to trampers (all terrain mobility scooters), cycle hire, and mobility scooters. There is accessible parking on site, however, where possible please park in the overflow car parks clearly signposted on the road approaching Seale-Hayne. From Plymouth Travel along the main A38 until you see Ashburton Caravan Sales on the lefthand side. Keep going to the top of the hill and a little way along the straight take the A383 to Newton Abbot (left). Keep on this road until you go past a big grey house on the right – signal early – it is a fast road. You will see the lay-by a little further along on the right – you need to turn left opposite the lay-by. Keep going to the top of the hill. From Exeter Travel along the main A38 until you get to the Stover Park exit (Trago Mills). A382. Keep going along the main road- at the first roundabout bear left. At the second roundabout turn right. At the third roundabout turn right this sends you to the A383 – Ashburton. Keep going on this road until you start to go back out of the town. Look for new houses being built left and right of the road. You are now going down a steep hill – signal early – it is a fast road. At the bottom of the hill turn right opposite the lay-by. Keep going to the top of the lane. GETTING HERE By Car We are on the A383 between Newton Abbot and Ashburton, just off the main A38. Look for the lay-by about half way along the road and turn opposite. Keep going to the top of the hill. If you Google the site (TQ12 6NQ) – we will come up as the University of Plymouth Campus. Be careful as your SatNav could take you into side roads.
