Our focus is essential in promoting educators as information producers who can tap into the positive impact technology can have on school performance. About PLA WVCPD’s Principals’ Leadership Academy (PLA) for New Principals and Experienced Principals addresses specific professional development needs in order to strengthen the skills and abilities of these two groups. PLA activities are fully supported by committed principals and others who serve on the Principals’ Advisory Council. (See back panel) As with all of its programming, the Center works hard to provide high-caliber learning opportunities as effectively and costefficiently as possible. This research-driven approach ensures West Virginia principals benefit from the kind of professional development offerings that will develop and sharpen their skills, and allow them to improve student achievement.
