• EarthLink Business’ Hosted Voice solution
puts the control back into your hands to
make the day to day changes necessary to
keep the business going
• You can access the administrator portal
anywhere you can get an Internet
connection
• The Customer Information Portal has an in
depth guide, Business Group Administrator
Guide, that will walk you through any
change in an easy step by step explanation

Business Group Admin Portal
• Business Group Admin Portal is an on-line
portal that allows you to make the following
changes:
– Manage features and phones for your business
– Set up Account Codes
– Modify Hunt Groups or MADNs (Simultaneous Ring
Groups)*
– Set up Call Pickup Groups
– Manage Music on Hold
• *Please note on Hunt Groups and MADNs
the Pilot Number must be built by EarthLink
Business before you can set these up or
modify them

Logging into Admin Portal
• Go to
https://voip.elnk.us/bg
• You will be prompted for:
– Number
• This is your telephone number
– Password
• This is the same as the PIN
you use to login to voicemail
• These will be the same as
you use to log into your
CommPortal

Basics of Admin Portal
• First page you will see when you login is the
Lines page
Help section will
dynamically
change based on
the page you are
currently using
Navigate to the
specific action you
are looking to take

Allows you to
search for users
by any field
Allows you to open the user’s
CommPortal to review
settings.
NOTE: You will be able to see
the user settings, but NOT any
messaging

Not all buttons on the
phone can be modified.
Buttons in BLUE can be
modified and buttons in
RED cannot. The color
will show when you put
your mouse over the
button you are trying to
modify.
Once you have
completed the
changes, select
‘Save changes’
