However, "there are some aspects that must not be overlooked. In 2016 we must pay special attention to the management of cash, the improvement of innovation and quality and our personnel" said Jesús Pascual, CEO of the company, during his speech to the Annual Convention held in Burgos on 17 March. Jesús Pascual was given the honor of opening this event which was attended by more than 280 executives from the company and he took the opportunity to outline the important issues in 2015 and explain the objectives for the new year. The CEO highlighted the good results recorded by Grupo Antolin in the last financial year, although he insisted on the need to continue working to improve the competitiveness of the company. During his speech, Jesús Pascual said that among his priorities for 2016 are the importance of controlling liquidity, since this is what underpins the growth and investment of any company. In this area, he underlined that Grupo Antolin is going to make all the investments necessary, the most important in its history, to continue having the best technology and offering a good service to its customers. In any case, investment must be carried out responsibly, or in other words, the business units must be flexible so that the "2016 will be the year of integration, with new challenges, products and launches" Grupo Antolin envisages a 2016 full of important challenges, new products and more than 50 launches. For Jesús Pascual, CEO of the company, 2016 will be the year of integration, a year in which the Group reaffirms its leading position in the manufacture of interiors, not only in terms of turnover, but also in terms of quality and innovation. During his speech at the Annual Convention, Jesús Pascual highlighted the acquisition of Magna Interiors last August and extended a special welcome to the new colleagues. It is, "undoubtedly the most important project that we have ever faced as a Group, in terms of its financial scale and its impact on products", he added. machinery is located where it is needed, even if this means moving it. This Grupo Antolin philosophy must be taken on by the new company as a whole: "what counts is the overall result, not the individual one", added Jesús Pascual. In addition, all of the managers in the company must be as attentive as possible to the need to release cash to guarantee our future. Another of the key issues for the CEO is innovation, the very origin of Grupo Antolin. One indication of the company’s focus on this area is that it has doubled the budget for this in 2016.The existence of more resources will also require more demanding management of time and deadlines "Time to market is increasingly important since customers want ideas but above all they want to know when they will be ready" said Jesús Pascual. Quality must be present in each step that Grupo Antolin takes. With 2016 promising to bring a large number of new projects, "we cannot allow ourselves any errors". As a result, one priority must be the implementation in all the plants of the three tools that need to form part of the management of any factory (red table, 5S and Kamishibai). "We need to be competitive and have productive factories. For this, it is vital for the quality indicators of the customers to be green". The last part of the speech was dedicated to the staff, a fundamental element of a company that now has 28,000 employees. Occupational health and safety, diversity, the growth and promotion of our teams and sustainability will mark the future of this company, concluded Pascual. "We must lead, motivate and show our gratitude for the effort made each day by the 28,000 people making up Grupo Antolin". ▪ This operation, which has positioned the company as the market's third global interior supplier, involves a major integration challenge which, if successfully overcome, will allow Grupo Antolin to guarantee the sustainability of the business. The incorporation of Magna means the union of two companies with two very different cultures, but "we must turn this difference into an opportunity and not a problem", outlined Jesús Pascual. The CEO highlighted the effort being made by the company's employees in recent months, marked by meetings and exchanges where there has been an attempt to respond to the many 'whys' and 'hows'. The key lies in finding the best of each company in order to share it and standardize it. There is still a long way to go to achieve this goal, unifying working methods, indirect processes, computer systems, etc., but he added that "we are taking the right steps". ▪ 2016 may grupoantolin ANNUAL CONVENTION & RECOGNITION ACT INFORMA ERNESTO ANTOLÍN "To continue writing the best chapters of our history we all need each other" "The best chapters are yet to be written, but none of us can do it alone. We need each other and for that you can count on our full support" This was the main conclusion expressed by the Group's Chairman, Ernesto Antolín, at the Annual Convention held on March 17 and attended by more than 280 of the company's executives. Ernesto Antolín was responsible for closing the event and did so by providing an optimistic vision of the company’s future. After a historic 2015, marked by important changes to a company that has managed to double in size and increase the number of countries in which it operates to 26, one of the greatest challenges for the future is the integration of Magna Interiors and he extended a special welcome to its executives. With this operation the Group has become one of the three leading suppliers of interiors in the world, a position that will require an enormous effort to maintain. In an increasingly fierce market going through a process of consolidation, the manufacturers need increasingly competitive suppliers who they can trust: "we can make the same claim that we always have: we are a stable family company with a clear growth plan that focuses on the long-term. In other words, we are not going to leave our customers high and dry at any time". For this, the company must work to build solid relationships for the future that allow us to generate regular business with the customers, stated Ernesto Antolín. The training of a solid team that is able to standardize processes is therefore one of Grupo Antolin’s main priorities for 2016 and represents a major challenge given its size, with more than 28,000 employees. In this regard, the president alluded to the situation experienced in recent months, during which many employees were forced to pay less attention to their routine tasks in order to focus on the project after the acquisition of Magna Interiors division. Teamwork enabled this gap to be covered and the company to come out much stronger. Ernesto Antolín said that the company will process the changes it must face in a natural way and innovation will be the valve for adapting to a world that is changing more quickly every day. The president also expects to see a much stronger and much more diverse Group that will remain flexible in order to deal with complex situations and offer responses that meet the specific needs of each customer. "We must work to build a Grupo Antolin which has a culture that means our employees wear the company's shirt with pride, wherever they are", concluded Ernesto Antolín. ▪ 5 6 INFORMA grupoantolin ANNUAL CONVENTION & RECOGNITION ACT may 2016 MARÍA HELENA ANTOLÍN "There are no innovative companies, just companies who are in a position to innovate" During the Annual Convention, María Helena Antolín, Vice Chairman of the Group, handed out the awards for the employees of the year. Also present were José Antolín and Ernesto Antolín, Honorary president and Chairman, who presented the award for best company in 2015 which this year, as a special case, was received by two companies: Grupo Antolin-Aragusa and Grupo Antolin-Eurotrim. María Helena took advantage of this opportunity to highlight the importance of continuous improvement as one of the characteristics that makes a difference for Grupo Antolin. "Every day it becomes clearer that there are no innovative companies, just companies who are in a position to innovate". Continuous improvement is one of the company's great advantages and an example of how Grupo Antolin falls into that second group. We have internalized improvement as part of the company's culture and we maintain it each day, with great adaptability, stability and a better response to the challenges generated, noted the Vice Chairman. During her speech, María Helena emphasized innovation as an essential element in ensuring the future of a company, an aspect which the president and CEO of Grupo Antolin also mentioned. As a multinational company operating in 26 different countries and with more than 28,000 employees, it is facing big challenges, so innovation is something that is cross-cutting and must have an impact on all parts of that large company. Continuous improvement is therefore vital in ensuring that Grupo Antolin can maintain all the conditions necessary for innovation, as it has done so far. However, faced with a future full of changes and obstacles, it is crucial to be even more committed to continuous improvement, said the Vice Chairman. In this regard, María Helena alluded to the need for all of the Group's employees to increase their involvement in the creation of improvement groups, the generation of individual or group improvement initiatives and the development of best practices. "If we can do this, I have no doubt that we will be a stronger company, able to meet the needs of the market and anticipate the demands of our customers", she concluded. María Helena Antolín was responsible for one of the most important moments during the Convention, given the excitement involved for many employees, the handing out of awards. Yet again, this year Grupo Antolin wanted to recognize the improvement work carried out in many of its factories, so this award is in recognition of continuous improvement and highlights the importance of rigor in problem solving which allows standards to be improved. The awards also represent support for the company's diversity, taking into account that the award winners this year have been selected from a total of 79 proposals, from the almost 5,000 that are in the system, 30 Improvement Groups and 30 Best Practices presented for recognition by 48 companies. María Helena Antolín highlighted the satisfaction gained from seeing how each year the number of proposals increases and the list of companies receiving an award grows, figures that will continue to grow as next year they will involve the companies acquired from Magna. ▪ grupoantolin ANNUAL CONVENTION & RECOGNITION ACT 2016 may INFORMA 7 RECOGNITION ACT Like every year, for 21 years, in this act we recognize our employees commitment to Grupo Antolin project and their participation in a Continuous Improvement BEST COMPANY GRUPO ANTOLIN-ARAGUSA GRUPO ANTOLIN-EUROTRIM The award was presented by JOSÉ ANTOLÍN Amando Delgado - Manager of Grupo Antolin-Aragusa The award was presented by ERNESTO ANTOLÍN Luis de Román - Manager of Grupo Antolin-Eurotrim “To seek the excellence is in the DNA of this company” Amando Delgado Manager of Grupo Antolin-Aragusa Why do you do think you have received this recognition? It is recognition for the hard work over recent years, the professionalism of the Grupo Antolin-Aragusa team and the identification with Grupo Antolin’s values: creativity, leadership, commitment, customer focus and knowledge management. What are the main improvements over the past year? In a factory every day you can find something to improve and these little things together make a difference. Over the past year we have worked on the different areas to achieve the objectives. We have improved the facilities, Grupo Antolin bought the plant, we have added 4 injectors, launched 6 new projects and optimized the production processes with that of Captur (through which by making the assembly at the site of the injector on 3 machines and in 18 shifts we are able to manufacture 6,000 cars per week). We have implemented the special weekend shift during which more than 40 people work. In the warehouse area we are in the process of implementing the dynamic board, a comprehensive logistics and production management system which gives us greater flexibility and better use of the space available. We have built a 1,000 m2 high-bay warehouse which has significantly reduced our logistics costs and has allowed us to improve the overall appearance of our facilities, giving them a fresher image. However, the most important thing is that we have managed to satisfy all of our customers by generating a production capacity of 4,500 cars each day, which means that more than 50% of the cars built in Spain contain a part manufactured at GA-Aragusa. Annual recognitions are now a tradition for the company. Do you think that continuous improvement has really had an impact on the company? Of course it has. Those of us who have spent many years in the Group have seen the evolution of our business and understand how important it is to successfully adapt to this changing, highly competitive market with its extremely demanding customers. This has been possible thanks to the desire to go further than promised and to seek the excellence and innovation that is in the DNA of this company. Define Grupo Antolin in just one word Commitment. ▪ “We have learned that in order to improve you must change” Luis de Román Manager of Grupo Antolin-Eurotrim Why do you do think you have received this recognition? I think it is recognition for the work done and the results obtained by the GA-Eurotrim team who were supported at all times by the different areas of the Overhead Systems Business Unit. Working together we have achieved very significant improvements in costs, productivity, quality, PS, and OHS. The new projects have been launched successfully. We have supported other factories across the world. And all of this has allowed us to be very economically efficient, maintaining a high satisfaction level among our customers. What are the main improvements over the past year? During 2015 we have successfully implemented WM (Warehouse Management) in all our warehouses, which has allowed us to better control the materials (raw materials and end product) and this is reflected in a clear reduction in problems with materials. We have worked consistently to improve the health and safety of our employees, adapting the existing machinery to the most demanding regulations, working on ergonomics and standardizing, via Kamishibai, the Health and Safety protocols. This has allowed us to improve the accident rates, obtain the OSHAS certification and offer the employees of GA-Eurotrim a safer working environment. We have successfully implemented the automatic recording of production data on-line and control of the productive resources through Blade, in order to obtain real time information about the incidents that occur (breakdowns, micro-stoppages, etc.) and the effectiveness of each line. Annual recognitions are now a tradition for the company. Do you think that continuous improvement has really had an impact on the company? Of course. We have learned that in order to improve you must change. This process of continuous change, seeking to improve what we do and who we are, is an essential characteristic of everyone working at Grupo Antolin. We are good at our jobs and we know that we can be even better, but only if we continue with this process of searching and changing. Define Grupo Antolin in just one word Passionate. ▪ 8 INFORMA grupoantolin ANNUAL CONVENTION & RECOGNITION ACT may 2016 IMPROVEMENT PROPOSALS IMPROVEMENT TEAMS Development and implementation of standard stillage for Headliners Optimization of the sunvisors process 1st Prize GA-INGENIERIA OVERHEADS BU - GA-LEAMINGTON 1st Prize GA-SILAO From left to right: Francisco Mata - Industrial Technician, GA Ingenieria Diego Luis Güemes - Project Engineer UK clients, GA Ingenieria The award was presented by FERNANDO SANZ Ignacio Fuertes - Ingenieria, GA Leamington Luis María Espinosa - Project Engineer UK clients, GA Ingenieria From left to right: Abraham Ulises Ramírez - Process Engineer Gabriel Olay - Production Coordinator The award was presented by PABLO BAROJA Samuel Lujano - UET Leader Automatic control to secure the correct contact of the bulb Process capacity improvement on lighting module 2nd Prize GA-SIBIU 2 Prize GA-BESANÇON nd From left to right: Daniel Ciucur - Asembly Manager The award was presented by PETER MURPHY Liviu Marian - Continuous Improvement Engineer The award was presented by MIGUEL ÁNGEL PRADO Baptiste Coppola - Industrial Technician, Process Collected on his behalf, Youssef Khattabi Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Workshop Armrest tool design 3rd Prize TRIMTEC 3 Prize GA-MARTORELL rd From left to right: Raphael Vial - Director Industrial Trimtec The award was presented by PEDRO SANTESTEBAN Paula Veit - SP Coordinator The award was presented by MIGUEL MARAÑÓN Isabel Montserrat Cano - Multiskilling Employee, Production BEST PRACTICES Rails Warehouse "Spider" 1st Prize GA-TLAXCALA Ignacio Bengoechea - Manager of GA-TLAXCALA The award was presented by JESÚS PASCUAL Direct sequencing of pannels with AGV's (Automatic Guided Vehicle) Methodology on the operator selection and training process 2nd Prize GA-RyA 3rd Prize GA-VIGO Carlos Cano - Manager of GA-RyA The award was presented by MIGUEL ÁNGEL VICENTE José Luis Antolín - Manager of GA-VIGO The award was presented by JAVIER BLANCO grupoantolin ANNUAL CONVENTION & RECOGNITION ACT 2016 may INFORMA GRUPO ANTOLIN PLANS TO MAKE THE LARGEST INVESTMENTS IN THE HISTORY IN 2016 Grupo Antolin plans to increase its investment in 2016 to €340 million, which represents the largest investment effort in the history of the company and a 97% increase compared to the figure for 2015. The company is therefore approaching 2016 as a year in which it has decided to redouble its efforts to equip itself with the most advanced technological resources and therefore offer a service of the highest quality to its customers. These investments will be aimed at opening a new center so that it can respond to future orders, improving infrastructures, and optimizing its processes. Grupo Antolin will also make a significant effort in the field of innovation, one of the main competitive advantages of the company. FINANCIAL DATA This investment will be possible thanks to the strong results achieved by Grupo Antolin in 2015 as a result of customer confidence and its significant effort to guarantee competitiveness. The company ended the year with sales of €3.506 billion, which represents a 58% increase compared to the previous year. The figures, presented on April 20, include the sales turnover of the interiors division of Magna for the first time, dating back to September 1, the date on which the purchase was finalized. Sales in that country increased by 22%, representing 13.9% of the company's total. A reflection of the important role played by the Group in the Spanish industrial sector is its supplying technology to the majority of vehicles produced in Spain, which has allowed it to be present in the ten best-selling vehicles in the country. Grupo Antolin closed 2015 with a workforce in Spain of more than 3,500 employees, an increase of 15.8% compared to the previous year. This growth and the impact generated throughout the entire value chain means that Grupo Antolin generates around 3% of the employment of the components sector in Spain. ▪ grupoantolin REPORT 2016 may INFORMA 11 Grupo Antolin generates one of every five industrial jobs in Burgos The strong growth experienced by Grupo Antolin in recent years has led to it having a significant "pull" effect on the economies and societies of Castile and Leon and Spain. Two factors have played a key role in this growth and these also explain its success in taking its business beyond the borders of its region and country of origin: the commitment to innovation and the culture of focusing on and serving the customer. In this context, it should be noted that the financial contribution of Grupo Antolin to the domestic economy amounts to €1.1 billion, which means that the company is responsible for 1 of every 1,000 euros generated in Spain. This figure corresponds to 2% of the GDP of Castile and Leon and 12% of that of Burgos. Over the last three years the company has improved its competitive position in the domestic market thanks to some strong growth rates. The turnover of the Grupo Antolin companies in Spain grew at a compound annual rate of 9.8%, which is 5.7% above the figure for the components industry. This strong growth has served as a stimulus for the whole of the Spanish economy. The Group's contribution to the economy, in terms of Gross Value Added (GVA), grew by 33.2% in cumulative terms between 2012 and 2015. This figure is 31.6% higher than the growth rate of the GVA for the industry in Spain and 29.5% above Spanish GDP. The total contribution was €32.5 million and, in terms of the direct contribution in Burgos, Grupo Antolin is also the company that makes the largest payment of local taxes both in absolute terms (€2.3 million) and in relative terms (0.6% of sales). The growth of Grupo Antolin and its commitment to the region has also been reflected in a strong job creation rate over the last four years, well above the industrial sector (+17%). As a result of this, the Group's employment in Spain grew by 15.8% in 2015, reaching 3,500 employees. Moreover, in Burgos this figure grew by 10%, reaching 2,283. THE TOTAL FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION OF GRUPO ANTOLIN IN SPAIN IS EQUIVALENT 1 OF EVERY €1,000 This growth has also had a significant impact on the entire value chain working with the company. So, purchases from suppliers in Castile and Leon grew by 55% between 2012 and 2015, collaboration which has allowed many of these local suppliers to internationalize their operations. In this way, purchases originating in Castile and Leon and with international destinations grew by 58% in this period. All of this is strong evidence of the company's importance as a generator of employment. Specifically, the employment generated corresponds to 8% of employment in Burgos, with a strong influence over the industrial sector, accounting for 20% of the industrial jobs in the city. It is also worth highlighting the multiplier effect of Grupo Antolin on economic activity, reflected in the indirect and induced employment generated by the organization. So, for every direct job generated, the effect of its activity over the supply chain creates 2.1 more jobs in Castile and Leon and 3.2 more in Spain taken as a whole. ▪ EMPLOYMENT GENERATED BY GRUPO ANTOLIN THROUGH ITS SUPPLY CHAIN 8% of EMPLOYMENT in BURGOS 1.4% of EMPLOYMENT in CASTILLA & LEÓN 0.1% of EMPLOYMENT in SPAIN 8,691EMPLOYMENT IN SPAIN 20% of INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYMENT in BURGOS 5% of INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYMENT in CASTILLA & LEÓN 3% 0.3% of INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYMENT of INDUSTRIAL in the COMPONENTS EMPLOYMENT in SPAIN INDUSTRY Chart based on the Input-Output Tables and according to figures published by the Spanish National Statistics Institute and Grupo Antolin. INTERVIEW 2016 may grupoantolin INFORMA Ernesto Antolín CHAIRMAN OF GRUPO ANTOLIN "We must know how to incorporate the best of other cultures without forgetting what has made us strong" Ernesto Antolín (Burgos, 1964) became Chairman of Grupo Antolin a little over a year ago, in February 2015, with the challenge of positioning Grupo Antolin among the main suppliers of interiors, as was declared a couple of years ago. In the last twelve months, Grupo Antolin has taken a very significant step forward, following the acquisition of Magna Interiors, and has become the world's third largest producer of vehicle interiors, with a turnover exceeding €4 billion annually and a workforce of more than 28,000 people. Today Grupo Antolin faces the future with ambition, states Ernesto Antolín, but without ever losing sight of the hallmarks that has made the company one of the industry leaders internationally. 13 14 INFORMA grupoantolin may 2016 How do you view your time so far as Chairman of Grupo Antolin? The truth is that it has been a tremendous year, in which we have gone a very long way toward positioning ourselves at the head of the manufacturers of vehicle interiors internationally. In April 2015 we announced the acquisition of Magna Interiors and today we can say that we were right to do so. It is true that there is still a lot of work to do, but we are already seeing the benefits of the addition of Magna, both from a commercial viewpoint and from the point of view of a lot of talent joining the company. For Grupo Antolin, the acquisition of Magna Interiors will undoubtedly represent a historic milestone. You have just mentioned that there is still a lot of work to be done. What are the key factors involved in becoming a single team? In effect, the biggest challenge ahead of us now is to complete the integration of Magna Interiors. Although a great effort has been made, we are still not operating as a single company: there are processes, systems, etc. that are in the process of being migrated. The sooner we manage to unify them, the better it will be for everyone and the earlier we can enjoy all the advantages of this acquisition. A process of this nature allows us to adopt the best practices of each company in order to become stronger. If we know that something works and provides results, we will standardize it and roll it out. What really matters is that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, which is what will give meaning to this operation and make us stronger. “Today Grupo Antolin can manufacture the entire interior of vehicles and this opens up a world of commercial opportunities that we must take advantage of” A specific example is the staff that we have incorporated. They are a perfect complement to the excellent team that we already had. Now we must take full advantage. Moreover, the most important thing is for the integration to not affect the daily running of the company. We must ensure that the customers do not suffer as a result of that process. My feeling is that this process will be fully completed significantly quicker than we expected prior to purchasing Magna Interiors. “THE NEW GRUPO ANTOLIN MUST WITHOUT DOUBT MAINTAIN THE ESSENCE THAT HAS BROUGHT US THIS FAR, BUT ALSO INCORPORATE EVERYTHING ABOUT MAGNA INTERIORS THAT ADDS VALUE” What would you say to the employees who have become part of Grupo Antolin following this purchase? Basically, that they are very important to us. Anyone who works at Grupo Antolin should know that ahead of them is a professional career full of opportunities, wherever they come from. We must enrich ourselves with people who want to form part of this great team and who can provide us with fresh ideas. At Grupo Antolin we will always leave the door open to talent and commitment. I would like to use this interview to thank all Grupo Antolin employees across the world for the effort they are making, as these processes are not always simple. This includes both those who are joining from Magna and those who already formed part of Grupo Antolin. What do the customers think about the acquisition of Magna Interiors? The truth is that this has been some of the best news we have had. Before the official announcement we sounded out our main customers and the feedback was very positive. They understand that this project is based on the very firm commitment of a family-based group, which has a long-term industrial vision and which also has a proven track record of offering the best solutions and the best service. We already know that in this industry, size and the ability to grow with our customers are key factors. It is something that we have always done and now with Magna Interiors we have more possibilities and more power to keep growing. And our customers are recognizing that. "Integration will be over when we operate as one company" grupoantolin 2016 may INFORMA Are you beginning to reap the commercial rewards of being a larger company? Yes, the situation is as I have just mentioned. The integration has not put the brake on our commercial activity, but rather the opposite: we have already won significant orders for the newly acquired business. Moreover, customers recognize that we have also strengthened some of our more classic business units and we can see how they are responding. Today Grupo Antolin can manufacture the entire interior of vehicles and this opens up a world of commercial opportunities that we must take advantage of. You have referred to the shareholders’ commitment to the company, how far does that commitment go? It is total. It is our most important project and one that we deliver on daily. We are convinced that the company created by our parents has a promising future and that much of our success lies in not losing the roots and essence of the founders' spirit. This is a company based on entrepreneurship, on hard work, on commitment, on daring, and on something else which is essential: innovation. Grupo Antolin came about due to innovation and since then innovation has formed part of our DNA. How do you think the next few years will go for Grupo Antolin? I would like to think it will become a larger company playing a greater role in our sector. To achieve this I have no doubt that we will have to be more international and diverse, which means knowing how to incorporate the best of other cultures, but without forgetting our roots and what has made us strong. “This is a company based on entrepreneurship, on hard work, on commitment, on daring…” In this process, innovation must play an essential role because it will be the valve for adjusting to a constantly changing world. All of this will have to be based on teamwork. We have some magnificent professionals and now more than ever we must be aware that we can go much further when we work together. ▪ ON A PERSONAL NOTE Where were you born? I was born in Burgos. The Group's funding structure was renewed just under a year ago. What is the company's situation from a financial perspective? What did you study? Grupo Antolin has always had a very prudent policy from a financial perspective and our figures demonstrate this. The purchase of the Magna interiors division has increased our debt ratio, but we expect to return to our normal levels over the next two years. When did your professional career start? The good news is that we have a very solid financial structure. In fact, the Magna operation was supported by the bond markets and by our regular banks who showed their confidence in us. We also took the opportunity to lower our financial costs. What are the biggest challenges given the company's new situation? In the short-term, this is very clear: we must complete the entire integration process so that we can operate as a single company as soon as possible. However, it is very important to go beyond formal integration and make the most of the two different business cultures. We must demonstrate to our customers, once again, that we are the perfect partner to accompany them on their journey. The new Grupo Antolin must without doubt maintain the essence that has brought us this far, but also incorporate everything about Magna Interiors that adds value. I have a degree in Law from the University of Burgos and later I took a postgraduate course at Boston University. I have spent all my professional life at Grupo Antolin where, since I was very young, I have worked in different jobs that have allowed me to gain an overview of the company and have given me the opportunity to travel around the world and learn several languages. How do you spend your time away from Grupo Antolin? I like sport and films, but above all I like spending time enjoying the countryside. An idol from the business world. I would say those who have preceded me in this position and the CEOs with whom I have been lucky enough to work. I have learned from them and continue to do so every day. What do you value most about the people who work for you? Honesty. A phrase that reflects your philosophy of life? "With perseverance and effort anything is possible". Can you imagine working outside the automobile sector? No. Grupo Antolín is my most important project and it is a sector that I am passionate about. What excites you most about the world of cars? I believe it is one of the most competitive sectors in the world, where innovation plays an essential role. How long have you been driving for? Forever. The best driving tip Safety. What car would you like to drive? An Aston Martin DB10, James Bond's car. 15 16 INFORMA grupoantolin PLANTS may 2016 New plant in Tlaxcala (Mexico) Grupo Antolin consolidates its position in one of the major automotive markets Grupo Antolin has opened its eighth factory in Mexico as a further addition to its manufacturing facilities in one of the most promising markets in the automotive sector.
