Art lovers enjoy an evening stroll through the charming streets of Marietta Square during this free, self-guided tour featuring local art and live music. The Beer Garden, a beer and wine garden nestled behind Cool Beans and Hemingway’s, continues during this 2015 season. Guests of the “Garden” can purchase cold beverages and enjoy live music while watching art come alive in Atherton Square. Event-goers can expect local restaurants, boutiques, and galleries to offer extended evening hours for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Throughout the evening, artists display their works for sale along the sidewalks in front of participating boutiques, restaurants, and cultural organizations. One artist each month is awarded “Best in Show,” and given the opportunity to display art in November at one of three local gallery sponsors: dk Gallery, Red Door Gallery & Studio, and 2 Rules Fine Art. Art Walk guests may also vote for “People’s Choice Award” each month. Art Walk is currently accepting applications.
