Vapotherm® Aerosol Adapter
Vapotherm Aerosol Adapter ® Announcing the first adapter designed to enable nebulizer administration with a High Flow Therapy system. Designed specifically for use with Vapotherm systems and the Aerogen Aeroneb® system, the nebulizer can be placed in series between the patient delivery tube and nasal cannula. Key Features & Benefits Allows for uninterrupted High Flow Therapy sCompatible with the Precision Flow® and 2000i® s For use with Aeroneb Pro and Solo s Simple to use s Deposition In vitro testing demonstrated the inhaled dose efficiency ranged from 4.5 – 9.1% at flows ranging from 1 – 8 L/min1. Using adult breathing parameters, inhaled dose was 4.5% at a median flow of 30 L/min, and 3.1% at 40 L/min. Fig. 1 The Vapotherm adapter operated between 1 and 40 L/min, and delivered a drug efficiency within the limits of other aerosol devices used in critical care. 1 Data on file and available upon request. Instructions for Use sThe adapter is not for continuous use and should be removed after each treatment and between uses; water will accumulate if left in circuits for extended periods sIt is important to maintain proper upright orientation of the adapter and nebulizer unit during the administration process sWhen used as directed, the adapter will not compromise operation of the Aeroneb Pro or Solo nebulizers Ordering Information Part Number Description Quantity AAA-1 Vapotherm Aerosol Adapter 10 adapters per case Vapotherm, Inc.
