Catalunya Organised by Partner I Family holidays International Congress of Welcome Welcome to the 1st International Congress on Family Holidays, an event we hope will become the benchmark meeting point for the family holidays industry. There is no doubt that family holidays is a strategic product for the future of our sector and one that can generate multiple opportunities for businesses, institutions and organisations, as well as open up new business paths. With the aid of national and international tourist professionals we will analyse elements including best practices and success stories from around the world, the needs and expectations of families when they travel and family holidays in the digital era. And what better place to hold this Congress than in Catalonia? We have long been an ideal destination for holidays with children. Indeed, Catalonia has pioneered the creation of a seal of specialisation that distinguishes the areas best geared up to receive families. Today we offer 19 Family Holidays Destinations and over 600 companies and entities from across Catalonia are programme members. The reflections and action proposals that emerge from this Congress will make a highly valuable contribution to the work we must all do together in this field.
