Designed for transporting those who are disabled over long distances in safety and comfort with the help of volunteer Nurses, Doctors, carers and helpers. Is of a world in which adults and children with disabilities are able to maximise their quality of life through social and travel opportunities. OUR AIM: “To make travel possible and transform lives” SPECIALIST FEATURES INCLUDE: • Wide Platform Lift for ease of access • 8 adjustable trolley beds • 16 adjustable seats with extra leg room • Spacious washroom/toilet • Kitchenette for preparing small meals and drinks • Generous storage for wheelchairs and luggage • Pa system • Air-conditioning • Emergency medical equipment These are just a small number of the comments we receive from our travellers: “Nothing is too much trouble for the group leader, carers, drivers and those that are not as fit as others are well looked after, treated with great dignity and respect. The great thing is the friendship and togetherness that is generated by Angela and her support team. This is our 5th Jumbulance holiday and it does exactly what it says on the tin “makes travel possible” . Without this wonderful facility my wife Rosemary wouldn’t be able to get away. Thank you once again for the pleasurable experience that you have h made possible, providing special memories which all of our residents will cherish” HOW CAN YOU HELP? • • • A donation to the Jumbulance Trust, helping to provide funds for specific projects or for the necessary general funds needed to support groups throughout the UK. A donation to a local group such as the “West Yorkshire Group” helping towards the cost of specific holidays or financial assistance for identified VIP’s or helpers taking part in their holidays. Identifying individuals who could benefit from participating in the holidays – those who would not be able to take such a holiday without significant physical, medical or financial assistance.
