Doncaster OS Map OS 111 Sheffield & Doncaster Yorkshire Wildlife Park in South Yorkshire's was voted as the most magnificent attraction in 2012 and is situated just outside Doncaster, The park occupies 70 acres of a 260 acre site, offering a unique view into the world of animals with walkthrough areas including Lemur Woods and Wallaby Walkabout and South America Viva. New for 2012 is Leopard Heights. The most endangered carnivore in Africa, the Painted Hunting Dog, can be also be seen at the Park, and on the ‘African Plains', Zebra, Antelope, Ankole Cattle and Ostrich roam free. Other animals include the popular Meerkats and Mongoose, Racoon Dogs, Amur Leopard, Wallaby, South American Vivas, Tigers, Squirrel Monkeys, Lions, Camels, Kangaroos and many other animals. Also a flamingo pool and wetlands park. There is also an Education Centre and Children’s information packs. Main Café z Toilets – There are well-equipped toilets in the courtyard and disabled toilets at the cafe. z Path - The path and overground walkways are a good surface for wheelchairs and made up of fine rolled-in crushed stone all the way round the park. Some walkways are on wooden boards – the majority of paths are suitable for all wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs, but a few paths may be soft in wet weather.
