John Calamos, Sr. founded Calamos Investments in 1977 and took Calamos
Asset Management public in 2004. He has developed pioneering investment
strategies and techniques to control risk, preserve capital and build wealth for
clients over the long term.
Mr. Calamos has authored two books, “Investing in Convertible Securities: Your
Complete Guide to the Risks and Rewards” and “Convertible Securities: the
Latest Instruments, Portfolio Strategies and Valuation Analysis.” He received
his undergraduate degree in economics and an M.B.A. in finance from the
Illinois Institute of Technology.
Mr. Calamos is often quoted as an authority on risk-managed strategies in
Barron’s, Fortune, Forbes, Pensions & Investments, IPE, Financial World,
Nation’s Business and The Wall Street Journal. As an active philanthropist in
the Greek community, he has been honored for his lifetime contributions by
the Hellenic Bar Association.

With over 22 years of industry experience, Mr. Baka has served in various
leadership roles at Calamos including the management of institutional
services. In his current role, Mr. Baka oversees the Wealth Management Group,
which provides wealth management services, including investment advisory,
investment management and wealth planning to high net worth individuals,
family offices, foundations, and endowments.
Before joining Calamos, Mr. Baka was head of Fidelity Investment’s Private
Client Office in Chicago.

Prior to joining Calamos in 2012, he served as Founder, Chief Executive Officer
and Chief Investment Officer of Black Capital, LLC. He incepted and led an
investment management team specializing in a long/short equity strategy.
Prior to that, Mr. Black served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment
Officer of Janus Capital Group and previously was Chief Investment Officer
of Global Equities at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). He also led
GSAM’s U.S. distribution efforts.
Previously, Mr. Black was Executive Vice President and Head of
AllianceBernstein’s Global Institutional Business. He started as a research
analyst and was ranked the top analyst in his category in Institutional Investor’s
“All America Research Team” from 1992 – 1998.

Mr. Butler is President & CEO of Legacy Risk Solutions, LLC. Mr. Butler
serves as the independent Risk Manager for Family Enterprise assets, including

Robert H. Jordan, Jr., is a weekend anchor for WGN-TV’s News at Nine. He
also produces, writes and reports stories for the weekday and weekend news
as a reporter. Jordan’s journalism career has spanned nearly 40 years and has
showcased his exceptional writing and verbal communications skills.

degree form Northeastern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Educational

Jordan began his broadcast adventure in 1970 at WSM-TV in Nashville, Tenn.
where he anchored an early morning variety show and was responsible for
on-camera news breaks. In 1973, he began work at WGN-TV, in Chicago, as a
general assignment reporter and an anchor for the One O’clock News.
In 1978, Jordan left WGN for a network spot at CBS News. There, he covered
stories for the nightly news with Walter Cronkite until 1980 when he returned
to his WGN home.
Jordan has lent his pen, imagination and reporting skills to numerous writing
projects including two screen plays, “Anthony’s Key” and “Multi-Man.” He also
has written articles for the Chicago Tribune, including an awarding winning
article on surviving prostate cancer.
Fifteen years ago, Jordan opened his own video production company -- Jordan
& Jordan Communications, Inc. He has produced many independent projects,
including biographies for affluent families across the country. In 2000, Jordan
began devoting all of his energies to the biography projects and his production
company -- Video Family Biographies -- began working exclusively with highnet-worth families in preserving the family legacy by chronicling generational
stories for this “special” niche. In 2009, Jordan expanded his production
company to include Video For Foundations as a dedicated arm of his company.
An active participant in the community, Jordan serves on the Board of
Directors of several local organizations including, The Safer Foundation, The

Joline Godfrey is the CEO of Independent Means and an innovator in
financial education for children and families. Originator of a unique
developmental, experiential approach to financial education, her work gives
families new tools for developing their human capital and raising children

Christopher Kennedy Lawford spent 20 years in the film and television
industries as an actor, lawyer, executive, and producer. He is the author of two
New York Times best-selling books, “Symptoms of Withdrawal: A Memoir of
Snapshots and Redemption” (2005) and “Moments of Clarity” (2009), as well
as “Healing Hepatitis C” (2009). His latest title, “Recover to Live: Kick Any
Habit, Manage Any Addiction”, was released in January 2013.

In recovery for more than 26 years from drug addiction, Kennedy Lawford
campaigns tirelessly on behalf of the recovery community in both the public
and private sectors. He currently works with the United Nations, the Canadian
Center on Substance Abuse, the White House Office on Drug Control Policy,
and the World Health Organization.
In 2009, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Kennedy
Lawford to the California Public Health Advisory Committee. In 2011, he was
named Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime
to promote activities supporting drug treatment, care, and recovery. He also
serves as national advocacy consultant for Caron Treatment Centers.
Christopher Kennedy Lawford holds a BA from Tufts University, a JD from
Boston College Law School, and a master’s certification in clinical psychology
from Harvard Medical School, where he held an academic appointment as a
lecturer in psychiatry.

Mr. Klouda is a senior member of the investment team with portfolio
management and research responsibilities. He is directly involved in
the fundamental analysis of companies, while investigating investment
opportunities consistent with the firm’s long-term philosophy and process.
In line with Calamos’ integrated investment team structure, he works within
a senior team of professionals and is an asset class generalist with sector
responsibilities across the Calamos strategies managed by the Growth/

Mr. Maher is a senior vice president and portfolio manager within the Calamos
Long/Short Equity team. Previously, he served as a portfolio manager at Black
Capital. Prior to joining Black Capital, Mr. Maher was a founding partner of
Savannah-Baltimore Capital Management, LLC, a global long/ short equity
hedge fund. While at Savannah-Baltimore, Mr. Maher was a member of a
senior team responsible for managing over $1.5 billion in assets and a staff
of 14 professionals. Mr. Maher had primary analytical responsibility for the
global financials, retail, and real estate sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Maher was a
founding partner at Gothic Capital Management LLC, a $100 million long/
short equity hedge fund, from 1999 through 2004. Mr. Maher was one of three
investment partners directly responsible for allocating capital across multiple
industries and focused on the financials, consumer, and real estate sectors.
Previously, he was an equity research senior associate at Fidelity Management
and Research Company from 1997 through 1999. He began his career at
Credit Suisse First Boston as an equity research associate in 1994.
Mr. Maher is the Founder of FISH, Inc., a non-profit social venture incubator
and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of TEAM Charter Schools
in Newark, New Jersey. Mr. Maher earned a BA in Finance, cum laude from the
University of Notre Dame. He is a CFA charterholder.

Thomas Meador began his career as an investment officer at the Harris
Bank in Chicago, later moving to Balcor, a diversified real estate investment
company. Balcor was subsequently sold to American Express and then grew
to an employee base of over 3,000 people with varied businesses including
development, build-to-suit, property management and Institutional Investment
Management.

In 1990, Mr. Meador became Chairman of Balcor and directed its strategic
disposition for American Express that was finalized in 1998.
Beginning in 1995, Mr. Meador also assumed the position of Senior Vice
President of Real Estate for American Express and was charged with building
a best-in class worldwide real estate delivery organization. While at American
Express, Mr. Meador also assumed leadership positions in a variety of other
businesses.
In 2005, Mr. Meador co-founded the company now known as Michigan Avenue
Real Estate Group. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation.
Mr. Meador has a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance, both from
Indiana University.
Jeff Miller, with 18 years of investment industry experience, leads the Calamos
Value team.

Mr. Miller was the Chief Investment Officer of the Large Cap Value Equity Team
and Portfolio Manager of the American Independence Stock Fund (ISISX) prior
to joining Calamos. Previously, Mr. Miller was co-Founder and co-Chief Investment
Officer of Miller & Jacobs Capital, LLC (MJC) where he managed the long/short
equity funds of Acadia Fund I, LP and Cerulean Partner, Ltd. Prior to that, Mr.
Miller was Vice President of Equity Research at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. Mr.
Miller was instrumental in developing valuation models for KBW’s recommended
list, and was also a key proponent of focusing on capital management for banks
and thrifts as a primary driver of shareholder value creation.

Zavis. In this capacity, he negotiated and structured real estate transactions,
as well as led public zoning hearings, orchestrated government relations and
assisted in client development. Following his career in law, Mr. Reinsdorf
served five years as an investment banker with EVEREN Securities and
Mesirow Financial. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing
projects, negotiating transactions, preparing private debt and equity offering
memoranda, and leading management presentations. Most recently, Mr.
Reinsdorf founded Stonegate Development Partners, LLC, a real estate
development company with a focus on higher education.
He serves as a consultant for the Education Alliance, a nationally recognized
full service higher education consulting firm. He is an adjunct Professor in
Roosevelt’s Steinfeld School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and
serves on the Lasell College Sports Management and Balance BPO Advisory
Boards. He is also a member on the Executive Committee for the United
Center Joint Venture, which is home to The Chicago Bulls Professional
Basketball Team and The Chicago Blackhawks Professional Hockey Team. In
addition, Mr. Reinsdorf is the Vice Chairman of the Board for StreetWise and
Board of Trustee for the Noble Network of Charter Schools and the Academy
of Country Music’s Lifting Lives Charity.
Mr. Reinsdorf holds an MBA with concentrations in Accounting and Finance
from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a JD from
Northwestern University School of Law.
Nadine Scully is a social worker, dancer, farmer, writer and founder of In2sync,
which has programs that are aimed at identifying and overcoming road
blocks that prevent people from realizing their full potential. Working as a
life and wellness coach, Nadine believes that if she can support people in the
development of healthy life habits, it will create a ripple effect in their own
lives and, consequently, in the life of the community.

She has acted as a trustee for numerous family trusts, an estate executor and
a manager for a multi-generational family agricultural enterprise. In addition
to her knowledge of finance and organizational systems, she thinks carefully
about what money is, what it’s good for, and where it’s of no use. Nadine is also
a strong believer that at all socio-economic levels, an understanding of how
money can help or hinder everything from health and fitness to relationships,
is central to well-being.
