We have presented our products at MebelExpo Uzbekistan for six years. Each year we get results: clients buying our equipment for producing high-quality furniture in Uzbekistan. I am sure that we will continue to exhibit in the future.” Drago Arhar, Head of Arhar Engineering “Each year we return to Tashkent to take part in MebelExpo Uzbekistan, where there is such a hospitable atmosphere. Many of the visitors are in our target audience and we are very happy with the work of the organisers. We would like to return again to take part in MebelExpo Uzbekistan next year.” Mustafa Shakhin, Export Manager, Turanlar Makina (Turkey) “The intensive development of Uzbekistan's furniture industry is causing a great demand for high-tech equipment. We deliver machine tools for manufacturing furniture and furniture accessories, processing wood and other types of equipment produced by leading international companies. Our international partners aim to further expand cooperation with furniture manufacturing in Uzbekistan, and this exhibition is a convenient place for establishing effective business contacts.” Aziz Serikbaev, Manager, Eman “For seven years, Eman has represented us on the Uzbekistan market. This year, they demonstrated Homag equipment for pattern cutting, drilling, and other woodworking operations in action at the large stand. In Uzbekistan, many furniture manufacturers fit out their businesses with this equipment. This suggests that the Uzbekistan market is growing and is being filled with high-tech equipment. The numbers are also evidence of this – in 2014, 1 million of our equipment was sold on the Uzbekistan market. Edge-banding machines, pattern cutting machines and other equipment are very popular.” Oksana Pikakova, Homag GUS “This is our first time at MebelExpo Uzbekistan and we are extremely happy with the quantity and quality of visitors, among whom are many of our potential clients. During the exhibition we managed to come to a number of major agreements on our products, and we have therefore decided to exhibit again next year.” Zhasur Yakubov, Manager, Sharq Mebel “We deliver between 10-15 wagons of fibreboard, chipboard, and MDF to Uzbekistan every month. The exhibition is an excellent opportunity for us to not only strengthen, but to expand our position on the market.” Igor Doylin, Deputy General Director, Vitebskdrev “I really enjoyed the exhibition, from year to year we see significant progress: more visitors and exhibitors. The activity of visitors at our stand was especially noticeable this year, which is very good for exhibitors. The exhibition is a fantastic tool for working with clients and for meeting specialists.” Timur Bakiev, Central Asia Representative, Julius Blum www.mebelexpo.uz FURNITURE AND PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES 11 MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2015: in the press: The furniture exhibition is enjoying great interest from visitors, where manufacturing technologies, components, finished products and existing equipment are demonstrated.
