Post Show Report The 6th Central Asian International PROTECTION, SECURITY AND FIRE SAFETY Exhibition 3 - 5 NOVEMBER 2011 Uzexpocentre, Tashkent, Uzbekistan THE MAIN EVENT IN THE CENTRAL ASIAN SECURITY MARKET OFFICIAL VIEWS Combating modern threats and challenges is impossible without providing law enforcement and defence agencies with modern equipment and advanced weaponry. CAIPS 2011, the Central Asian International Protection, Security and Fire Safety Exhibition, is designed to help solve this practical problem. I am confident that the exhibition will be an ideal platform for effective experience sharing between companies from Central Asia and foreign manufacturers, and serve as an impetus to the development of manufacturing processes and the creation of modern equipment to protect the interests of the state and citizens' rights in the field of security. K. Berdiev, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan Post Show Report CAIPS occupies an important place in a series of specialised security events in other countries, and is the only authoritative exhibition in the security industry in Uzbekistan. It provides a unique opportunity for meetings between developers, manufacturers and consumers of special equipment for security and fire protection; monitoring the market; signing trade agreements; and establishing further contacts. The exhibition helps strengthen cooperation between government agencies, industry and business in addressing security concerns in the country. I. Yuldashev, Head of the Main Fire Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Over the past five years, the CAIPS exhibition has proven itself as a largescale event that presents the latest developments and innovative technologies in the security industry, and facilitates cooperation between manufacturers and consumers. The idea of the exhibition enables different countries and agencies to unite efforts to create an effective security system that meets the needs of the times. Importantly, many new developments presented at previous exhibitions are now used extensively in practice. T. Khudaybergenov, Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan CAIPS is the only specialised security event in Uzbekistan and has proven itself as an authoritative event, which focuses the attention of industry specialists on the latest products and developments in the security industry, and provides practical information on their application.
