Art Auction benefiting Dallas Contemporary. This is the second auction in our new and ever-evolving home. Your support this evening ensures Dallas Contemporary will continue its commitment to help launch the careers of many bright artists and to engage the public in meaningful dialogue about contemporary art. By giving artists space to exhibit their work, this institution has presented painting, photography, sculpture, new media and more from emerging talent for many critics, collectors and art enthusiasts to see. In addition to thought-provoking exhibitions, Dallas Contemporary serves more than 35,000 children and adults annually through gallery talks, discussion groups, tours of collectors’ homes and their Art Think™ education program — opening the eyes and imaginations of students to create a new generation of thinkers. We at Dallas Contemporary are committed to working towards completing the Capital Campaign goal of raising funds needed to complete the renovation of this 1950s industrial building that is the art space’s permanent home. We have raised $4.43 million of the $6 million Capital Campaign, and naming opportunities are still available for many areas of the building. We urge you to become a donor today to help us complete this grand space — please log onto dallascontemporary.org and click on “propaganda” for more information. Thank you for assisting Dallas Contemporary in fulfilling the mission to present new and challenging ideas from regional, national and international artists. The Dallas Contemporary board and staff members join us in toasting you for your support of this great evening!
