We expect to have a special guest, Jody Rogers, from the Town of Cicero, she will be sharing some exciting news relative to Gateway Park and the Town of Cicero Parks and Recreation programs. After Jody’s comments we will turn our attention to our newest community event, the Bridgeport Chittenango Creek Paddle Fest: This event is set for Sunday afternoon, July 31 with Stone’s Marina as the focal point. We are looking at having live music, food, kayak, paddle board demos and other water and outdoor oriented events. We will be celebrating one the greatest assets of our area: Chittenango Creek our gateway to Oneida Lake, and central New York’s water fun spot. A significant amount of planning has been done already but, there are the final details to be discussed and decided upon. This event will be sponsored by the BridgeportLakeport Civic Organization with the support of the Madison Country Tourism Agency, and the Town of Sullivan Parks and Recreation Department.
