“The old decree and its replacement with the new decree are united, with the new

ForBali contends that Benoa

A guy sits in a taxi and sees his wife entering a hotel with another man, and tells the
driver, "Do you want to earn Rs 5000 right away?" The driver excitedly said, "What
do I have to do?" Bring my wife by the hair out of that hotel, here's a picture of
her."After a while the driver is seen dragging a woman by the hair, while kicking and
beating her and puts her in the Taxi. And the husband says to him, "This is not my
wife." The driver replied, "Nooooo, this is mine, hold her for me. I'm going for yours!"
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They
planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of
hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel plans. So, the husband left Minneapolis
and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and
without realizing his error, sent the email. Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a
minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow
decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends.
After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted. The widow's
son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read: To: My loving wife Subject: I've arrived Date: April
6, 2006 I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers
here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just
arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared
for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then. Hope your
journey is as uneventful as mine was. P.S. Sure is hot down here!!!!!
A woman awoke during the night to find that her husband was not in bed.
She put on her robe and went downstairs. He was sitting at the kitchen
table with a cup of coffee in front of him. He appeared to be deep in thought, just staring at the wall. She saw him wipe a tear from his
eye and take a sip of his coffee. "What's the matter dear? Why are you down here at this time of night?" she asked. "Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating and you were only 16?" he asked. "Yes I do." she replied. "Do you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car?" "Yes I remember." Do you remember your father when he shoved that shotgun in my face
and said.'Either you marry my daughter or spend twenty years in jail'?" Yes I do", she replied. He wiped another tear from his cheek
and said, " You know I would have gotten out today."
An Aussie truckie walks into an outback cafe' with a full-grown emu behind him. The waitress asks them for their orders. The truckie says, 'A hamburger, chips and a coke,' and turns

returns with the order 'That will be $9.40 please,' and he reaches into his pocket and pulls
out the exact change for payment. The next day, the man and the emu come again and he
says, 'A hamburger, chips and a coke.' The emu says, 'I'll have the same..' Again the truckie
reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change. This becomes routine until the two enter again. 'The usual?' asks the waitress. 'No, it's Friday night, so I'll have a steak, baked
potato and a salad,' says the man. 'Same,' says the emu. Shortly the waitress brings the
order and says, 'That will be $32.62.' Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his
pocket and places it on the table. The waitress cannot hold back her curiosity any longer.
'Excuse me, mate, how do you manage to always come up with the exact change in your
pocket every time?' 'Well, love' says the truckie, 'a few years ago, I was cleaning out the
back shed, and found an old lamp. When I rubbed it, a Genie appeared and offered me two
wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything, I would just put my hand in
my pocket and the right amount of money would always be there.''That's brilliant!' says the
waitress. 'Most people would ask for a million dollars or something, but you'll always be as
rich as you want for as long as you live! 'That's right. Whether it's a gallon of milk or a Rolls
Royce, the exact money is always there,' says the man. The waitress asks, 'What's with the
bloody emu?' The truckie sighs, pauses, and answers, 'My second wish was for a tall chick

Foreign Exchange Association Call for Stronger Law Enforcement Against Illegal

The Association of Foreign Exchange Dealers in Bali (APVABali) are growing increasingly

Ayu Dama reminded how a report by a
Dutch filmaker on the practices of illegal
moneychangers committing fraud against
foreign tourists caused a momentary panic
among both police and the governor. For
this reason, APVA-Bali is again calling on
the government to intensify efforts to close
illegal currency changers.
When asked what her association was doing to curb the presence of illegal moneychangers in Bali, she explained that APVA
members were consolidating and offering
standardized rates for currency transactions.
The deputy director of Bank Indonesia for
Bali and East Nusa Tenggara, Bimantoro,

for fraud at the feet of illegal moneychagers completely justified?
Have a look at the now notorious
film clip made by filmmaker Keese

count for little as a guarantee of

Canadian investors eye North Bali airport project
As reported by Bali Daily (The
Jakarta Post) Investors from
Canada expressed their interest
in developing an international
airport in Buleleng regency in
North Bali.
Tracy Reynolds from the Canadian Embassy in Jakarta said
that during a courtesy visit to
Bali Governor Made Mangku
Pastika, in Denpasar on Thursday, a number of Canadian
companies voiced their interest
in building the airport and its
supporting infrastructure.
Ngurah Rai International Airport
in Tuban will receive an estimated 20-million passengers by
2015, which will far exceed its
current capacity. An additional
airport in Buleleng had been
planned by the Bali provincial
administration to address the
overspill.
Bali has a huge
potential for tourism due to its
culture and nature.
Thorough dialogue between
Indonesia and
Canada would be needed on
this issue to bring it to fruition.
A feasibility study is currently
underway and several investors
have already show interest.

The head of the Tabanan Disaster Mitigation and Prevention
Agency (BPBD), Gusti Ngurah
Sucita, described precautions,
saying: “When a tsunami occurs, the most critical area is
Tanah Lot.
But we plan to build a tsunami
shelter center in the western
area of Tabanan, up toward
Selabih village.”
An evacuation map had been
formulated for hotels and residents along the exposed coast
that will be shared with villagers
to help save life should a tsunami occur.
Attending the initial meeting to
launch the evacuation scenario
were managers of Tanah Lot,
community leaders, village officials and management from the
Pan Pacific Bali Nirwana Resort.
Signs showing evacuation
routes have also been installed
up and down the coast.
The Meteorology, Climatology
and Geophysics Agency
(BMKG) have identified the
southern regions of Bali as one
of three main places in Indonesia at greatest risk of earthquake and tsunami damage.
