SKIN FIRST. A good moisturizer is always key when
transitioning into fall. Traveling to places like New York and
Chicago during the colder months can be detrimental to your
skin without proper moisturizer.
HIGH STEPPIN’. I can’t go into fall without a good pair of
new boots - over the knees and lace ups are my favorite
right now.
LAYER IT ON. In LA, it doesn’t get too cold until later in the
year. A good duster coat seems to do the trick when it cools
down. It’s not too heavy and can be worn day or night.
PUCKER POWER. I love to enter the season with a few new
lipsticks to inspire my overall look. Have you tried the vamp
look? It can be very sexy for a night out.
BURN BRIGHT. I love having candles in my home all year
round but when the weather starts to cool down, there’s
nothing cozier than a good movie and cozy blanket with a
delicious candle burning helping you relax before bed.

If you’re looking for fun this Labor Day Weekend, Malibu is ready for you.
A short drive from the city, you’ll find beautiful beaches, great shopping
and the 34th Annual Malibu Kiwanis Chili Cook-Off.
Enjoy live bands, carnival treats and rides, and don’t forget to save room
for the main event: the chili! The area’s best chili chefs will be selling
samples of their most creative recipes as they vie for top honors.
The Malibu Kiwanis Chili Cook-Off is a proud supporter of Wounded
Warrior Project and has set a goal to donate $25,000 to the foundation.
They’re already almost half-way to their target, having donated over
$10,000 to date.
