Stettler Board of Trade Welcome
“On behalf of the Stettler Regional Board of Trade, it is my pleasure to
welcome you to the Town of Stettler.”
Stettler is called “the Heart of Alberta” for many reasons. We are a
hub for services and activities and well-located, no more than an
hour’s drive from other major centres. Stettler hospitality is well
known and visitors will find a vibrant, attractive town with friendly
citizens who take pride in their community. Stettler has been awarded
top marks in the Provincial Communities in Bloom competition and a new recycling
program helps us stay “clean and green”!
We also attract many visitors each year to our unique Alberta Prairie Steam train.
Our Town and Country Museum is listed in the top five Alberta museums and Stettler boasts two golf courses in the area. Our multi service Recreation Centre is now
complemented with our brand new baseball – soccer park. The Performing Arts
Centre provides a cultural outlet. West Stettler Park offers a natural park, musical
entertainment on summer evenings, and features a children’s water park and nearby
campground. Nearby Buffalo Lake offers camping and outdoor activities.
Stettler offers all essential services required for living well including a hospital,
Lodges and elder care facilities, two medical centres, well-situated schools, and
two day care centres. Shoppers will find a mix of familiar and unique stores and
conveniences along with helpful merchants. Stettler truly has it all!!
We invite you to visit our friendly community and enjoy all we have to offer. Stop in
at our Tourism Information Centre for all you need to make the most of your visit
to Stettler!

Welcome to the County of Stettler
On behalf of the County of Stettler, Welcome to our Community.
Nestled atop the east bank of the Red Deer River, the County of
Stettler is a mix of idyllic agriculture operations and picturesque
landscape that reminds you just how wise our pioneers were for
choosing the region as their final destination. We have built our
communities and culture on the back-bone provided by the rich
farm and ranch land that this region is famous for.
We are extremely proud of our way of life, and strive to protect our rural
lifestyle and our heritage, while working hard to build sustainable communities for the future.
Whether you are here for a quick stop at the Erskine General Store or Endiang
Kitchen or a longer stay at one of our many beautiful campgrounds, we know
that you find unmatched hospitality and community spirit. With first class
tourist attractions like Pheasantback Golf and Country Club, Ol’ Macdonald’s
Family Resort, Alberta Prairie Steam Train Tours, Metis Historic Sites and an
abundance of camping, fishing, hunting and other sporting facilities, the
County of Stettler is the perfect place for your next vacation.
Whatever your reason for visiting our area, whether it be to find adventure,
rest your soul or re-locate, we hope that you create memories here that will last
a lifetime.
