Wheelchairs are available near the main entrance; a photo
ID must be left with Security. The IMAX Theater is wheelchair
accessible. Closed captioning and audio description are available

Where is the nearest Metrorail (subway) stop?
Exit out the Independence Avenue doors, go one block straight ahead on 6th Street, cross Maryland Avenue at the stoplight, and turn right.
The L’Enfant Plaza station is just down the street.
Where are the restrooms?
Look on the map for the green symbols. How do I get to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center?
The Udvar-Hazy Center is about 28 miles (a 40-minute drive) from downtown Washington. Public transportation is available via regional bus
service or taxi; visit the Welcome Center for information.
How do I become a Museum member?
You can purchase individual or gift memberships at the Welcome Center
or online at airandspace.si.edu/membership.
What else should I know?
No coat or luggage storage is available. ATM machines are just outside
the Museum Store and the Food Court. A mailbox and public phones
are in the Welcome Center area.
