On RAD axles the wheel hubs and sprocket holder use a tapered
thread to hold solid. The design elminates wobble and worn out
splines. 30% of the weight of stock axles*. 7075 billet aluminum.

We invented the remote grease fitting for Honda
models to make it easy to grease your axle
bearings without removing the carrier from the
swingarm. The design allows grease to reach
both sides of the carrier.
- If caliper holder is not included, your stock holder will work.
- Polaris Type 1 has brake rotor on axle

CARRIER F.A.Q.
1. Will the carrier fit
my stock ATV?
Yes. All of our carriers
are designed to fit a
stock swingarm and
axle, unless otherwise
specified.
2.Does it come with bearings and seals?
Yes. All of our carriers come to you completely
assembled. You will only need to grease it.
3.Can you tell me more about greasing
this carrier?
Our carriers have a grease fitting which will allow
grease to flow to the bearings on both sides. Fill
the carrier until you see grease oozing out of
both sides. Then use your finger to press some
grease between the bearing and the seal. Any
waterproof grease will work.
4.Will a RAD Round carrier fit my aftermarket
swingarm?
Ours will fit most brands of aftermarket swingarms
that are made with the same diameter to fit a
round 'Honda-Style' carrier. Check with the
swingarm manufacturer to make sure.
5. Does the carrier inlcude a brake caliper
holder and/or the circlip that holds it on?
Some carriers include a brake caliper holder
and all necary esshardware including the circlip.
Carriers that do not include a caliper holder are
designed to work with your stock holder and
circlip and do not include a replacement circlip.
Other necessary hardware, such as spacers, are
included when applicable.

HOW TO ID BEARINGS & SEALS
Bearing #
Bearings and seals are determined by a standard part number. In most cases these numbers
can be found on the side of the bearing/seal itself. The bearing number is marked on the plastic that seals the ball bearings. Occasionally this plastic will be removed, thereby preventing
identification. Many bearings and seals can be purchased locally if correctly ID’d.
Seals are measured by outer diameter X inner diameter X and width(thickness) in millimeters.
The width is the last digit and is generally not as crucial as the diameters. In example, a 50x68x7
seal will work fine in most applications where a 50x68x8 is required.

1. Are the hubs assembled with bearings, seals, spacers, holders
and hardware?
RAD hubs come completely assembled and ready to install on your bike.
All parts are included. Hex hubs come with the sprocket and disc holders
installed and torqued to spec.
2. How does the weight of your Hex hubs compare to stock hubs?
Weight varies per model--some are heavier than stock, some are lighter.
3. How do I adapt a Hex Hub to fit another make or model?
You need an Adaptor Kit that includes the sprocket and/or disc holder and
the correct axle spacers for the model you wish to fit.
4. Do Hex hubs work with stock spokes?
Yes, but it may be necessary to bend the spokes slightly for proper
installation.
5. Are Eagle Hubs greaseable?
No, Eagle Hubs are built with sealed bearings. Hex hubs are greaseable.
6. Why do I need a replacement axle to fit a Hex hub on a KTM or
RMZ450?
Our Hex hubs are universal and are all built to a standard design. KTM
models that have a 26mm front axle must use our 20mm adaptor axle to
fit our Hex hub. All RMZ450’s have a stock 22mm front axle, and so all
must use our 20mm adaptor axle to fit our Hex hub. There is no need for
an adaptor axle to fit our Eagle hubs. All Eagle hubs are designed to fit on
a stock bike without any modifications.
