Pentecost Sunday reminds us that our lives are filled with the Holy Spirit and God has accomplished creative things in us through this gift. We have been entrusted with this great gift of the Holy Spirit. Now is a good time to ask: Are we being good stewards of this gift? What creative things have we done to glorify God’s accomplishments in us? PENTECOST SUNDAY Saint Vincent’s Corner Today as we celebrate Pentecost the Holy Spirit wants to make us advocates of God’s presence to bring new life to others, especially those who do not know the love of God in their lives. Your gift in the St. Vincent de Paul collection will help families who are struggling and in need to believe in the mystery of God’s love for them. Please continue to help us fill the food boxes, with summer approaching and school out the demand for non-perishable food items increases significantly. Thank you for your support! For more information about the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, please visit www.svdprr.org. Marriage - Why God's Design The family is threatened by growing efforts on the part of some to redefine the very institution of marriage, and society is tempted by confusing presentations of sexuality, marriage and the family . . . As you know, these realities are increasingly under attack from powerful forces which threaten to disfigure God's plan for creation and betray the very values which have inspired and shaped all that is best in your culture." ~ Pope Francis, January 16, 2015, Manila FREQUENT NUMBERS/ NUMEROS FREQUENTES PASTORAL CARE Liturgy Divorce & Beyond Bereavement Ministry Hospital visit (English) Hospital visit (Español) Homebound (English) Homebound (Spanish) Nursing Home Ministry Debbie George Debbie George Debbie George Mary DiBonito Martha Estrada Geri Lynn Martha Estrada Azucena Overman 600-8158 600-8158 600-8158 934-3235 417-8722 629-9006 417-8722 627-6423 SPIRITUAL LIFE Eucharist Adoration Pilgrim Statue Our Lady of Grace Estatua Peregrina Praise & Worship Prayer Line Parish Bible Study Legion of Mary Gigi Lewis Debbie Davis Rosie Russi Les & Gabriele Miller Joan A.
