Rams are Coming Home > Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said he is “psyched” by the announcement that the St. Louis Rams will return to Southern California this fall and play at the Coliseum until a new stadium with a roof is ready for use in Inglewood in 2019. A meeting in Houston, NFL owners approved plans for an 80,000-seat stadium on the site of the former Hollywood Park Racetrack in Inglewood. The vote marked the return of the NFL to Los Angeles, which has not had a franchise since 1994. With anticipation building as the NFL returns to Los Angeles for the first time in 22 years, HBO Sports, NFL Films and the Los Angeles Rams team up for an all-access look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League on the new season of the league’s signature documentary TV program. Debuting this summer, HARD KNOCKS: TRAINING CAMP WITH THE LOS ANGELES RAMS will be there every step of the way as NFL Films cameras follow the organization’s return to Southern California. Watch the first sports-based reality series – and one of the fastestturnaround programs on TV – kick off its five-episode, 11th season on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 (10:00 pm-11:00 pm ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. Other hour-long episodes of the 12-time Sports Emmy®-winning series debut on subsequent Tuesdays at the same time, culminating in the Sept. 6 season finale.
