INTERIORS
The exquisite new 80 bedroom hotel by acclaimed
British designer Anouska Hempel (now Lady Weinberg)
is contemporary in its design. Clean lines meet sharp
angles and sculptural forms in a sophisticated temple of
black and white.
Positioned within a quintessentially British row of
nineteenth century Victorian townhouses, La Suite West
is distinguished by its beautifully landscaped private
terrace. Crips lines of lovingly pruned plants, trees and
hedges are complimented by American White Oak
benches adorned with large hurricane lamps, forming a
serene al fresco setting for drinks and dining.
RESTAURANT
The Restaurant at La Suite West offers a tastefully
designed, contemporary and chic space with a capacity
of 50 seats that is open to hotel guests and the public
alike for all day dining. Breakfast is a combination of
hassle free choices - full English or Continental breakfast,
or a menu of a la Carte options for a lighter start.
Following breakfast, our Executive Chef team of Victor
Garvey and Marcello Kaminski have created a menu of
social, sharing food with theatre and a conversational
element. Good food at a good price that goes beyond a
sense of taste.
ROOMS
Subtly infused with Anouska Hempel’s signature Asian
details, corridors of inky-black marble floors lead
to sleek, modern guest rooms swathed in black and
white. Individually crafted four-poster beds are set
against whitewashed rooms with thick, black wooden
shutters. A Zen-like ambiance is further encouraged
by deep mattresses and black-out blinds. Three unique
studio suites open out onto their own private garden
terrace with a glamorous, gated entrance. In the airy
marble bathrooms, guests can enjoy Molton Brown
room products, Frette bathrobes and Rattan slippers.
Intelligently designed for the business traveller, rooms
also include complimentary Wi-Fi, laptop safes and
international plug sockets.
