Clerk informed Council that he had received the from the Property Appraiser for the year 1977 Last year the Town had six mills this year the Town has a slight increase in new constructions and additions which the Property Appraiser is certifying that the Town will received the same amount of ad valorem taxes this year as last by a millage Clerk also indicated that if the Council decided to go back to six rate of 5 934 annual certification of millage higher we would have to advertise 934 seconded by Mr Johnston millage at 5 mills or UTILITY FRANCHISE of this problem aspects legal cases
