Rev. Dr. John Mulinde, a pastor from Uganda, in delivering this message of
transformation, said, “Transformation is God’s desire for every nation but it
is constantly being obstructed in the world, especially where disciplemaking is concerned. Nevertheless, it shall be accomplished according to
God’s plan. This being the end times, it is imperative that we move in
tandem with God’s timetable”.
The lesson Rev. Mulinde learnt from this checkered past is this: “Do not pray
for just one thing, rather, pray in accordance with the destiny God has for
the country. Do not react to what your enemy has done to you.”
What should we do then?
Rev. Mulinde said, “Transformation begins with a hunger for the living water
of Christ. Prayer must be fervent.” There should be an altar for prayers
wherever God’s children are present. It may be a prayer gathering of two
or three, a family prayer altar, or a 24-hour prayer tower in the church;
there is no other way in spiritual warfare.
