February is the perfect time for some girl time. So grab
some friends and head to Century II to warm up with
some retail therapy, cooking demos and samples, inspirational workshops and ideas to rejuvenate your home
and lifestyle. The 15th annual Wichita Women’s Fair Feb.
15-17 will feature 385 exhibits offering information on an
array of topics from fun to financial.
Be one of the first 500 women attendees to come
through the doors on Friday and receive an insulated
snack tote from Via Christi Women’s Connection and The
Buzz. Via Christi Health will also be offering $1 Off coupons for Friday at their website viachristi.org/womensfair.
Fair hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8.25
for adults, $7.25 for seniors and $5.25 for children 6-12.
Children 5 and under are free. The Party Bus will again
provide free doorside transportation from LawrenceDumont Stadium parking lot.

It’s award season so come dressed for an
evening of fun on Saturday as attendees will
be able to walk the Red Carpet between 4 and
6 p.m. Gift bags with goodies will be handed
out to the first 100 attendees who walk the
red carpet after 4 p.m. Prior to your walk on
the red carpet, be sure and visit Xenon International Academy’s booth for a quick updo or
make-up touchup along with a swag bag.
Those who walk the red carpet will have an
opportunity to win a trip for two to Los Angeles that includes hotel, airfare and two tickets
to the “American Idol Finale” taping. The Fox
Kansas and Rusty Eck Ford Idol Giveaway will
be awarded to a lucky winner who poses for
photos on the red carpet. Eric Fisher Salon and
Cosmetic Café will also treat the winner and
her guest to a makeover before they leave for
California in May.
Firefighters featured in the Kansas Firefighters calendar will be on hand to greet gals
on the Red Carpet. This is the 3rd year the
calendar has been published with sales benefiting the Kansas Firefighters Museum and

Game and the “Get the Fever” Vintage to
Modern Hair Show with a touch of Hollywood

a pair of tickets to the Feb. 22 Jamey Johnson
concert. And if you are the first to FIND BOB at
this year’s Women’s Fair you’ll win a $100
Women’s Fair Shopping Spree. Stop by their

Choreographed by Wichita-based Models
and Images Modeling Agency, two different
fashion shows will feature clothing and accessories from two dozen merchants and design
boutiques from across the country as well as
the Wichita area. In addition, scores of vendors
will sell apparel, jewelry and accessory items,
and local fashion experts will share tips and
trends.

Eyewear, Accessories Etc, Chic Street Boutique,
Twisted Stitch, Urbane Soule and Mane Street
Style. Shows at 2:30 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday, and noon Sunday will highlight fashions
from dressbarn, All Dec’d Out, Niki David
Silks, Main Street Company, She Martini,
Tesori Boutique, Redbird Boutique and
Twila’s Boutique.
In addition to runway shows and demonstrations, attendees can visit more than 100
booths to learn more about beauty services as
well as purchase an array of apparel, jewelry,
accessories and makeup. The Models and
Images International Model Search will take
place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Exhibitors, salons and spas will offer the latest in hairstyles, products, beauty makeovers,
demos, and a wide range of services and new
products at this year’s Fair. In addition, plastic
surgeons and aestheticians will be consulting
on hair removal, vein treatment, skin care,
facial peels, botox injections, anti-aging cosmetics, cosmetic surgery and more.

Eric Fisher Academy Runway Show “Limitless”
Friday at 6 p.m. on the Main Stage. Xenon
International Academy will present “Get the
Fever” Vintage to Modern Hairstyles on the
Main Stage at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Discover the secret behind perfectly shaped
brows from Pam Edmondson of Skin Essentials
during her “All About Brows” presentation on
Saturday at 1 p.m. A lucky volunteer will be
plucked from the crowd to have a brow makeover as she demonstrates methods and shapes as
well as eye lash products, including a mascara
that lasts two weeks.

Take Your Turn on the
Past winners of Models and Images’ International Model Search at the Women’s Fair have
had their dreams come true after signing lucrative
modeling contracts with some of the world’s most
prestigious agencies. Many Models and Images
students have also gone on to model during Fashion Weeks in Paris, NYC and for such designers as
Versace, Alexander Wang, Tommy Hilfiger, Urban
Outfitters, and the Gap.
The competition is open to males and females,
ages 5 to 30. The divisions are: females 13 and
over, males 13 and over, boys and girls 9-12, and
boys and girls 5-8. The grand prize is a professional
modeling course and the opportunity to interview
with New York, Los Angeles and Chicago modeling scouts.
The registration fee is $25 and includes a free
modeling seminar at the Models and Images office
at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, and two complimentary tickets to the Women’s Fair. Participants
will walk the runway wearing an outfit of their
choice and answer impromptu questions on stage.
The finals of the search will be on the Fashion
Stage starting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

At noon on Saturday, the hosts of KFDI’s Country Music
Association award-winning morning show, Brian & Kellie,
will again host The Right Price Game Show, their own creative
version of “The Price is Right,” on the Main Stage. Register
