Taste has produced over 56 festivals in 20 cities around the world, all based on the original genredefining launch at Somerset House, London 2004. Taste of London moved to Regent’s Park. Taste forms a partnership with Channel 4 to deliver a nationwide series of events attracting 130,000 visitors across the UK and Ireland. 36 Restaurants 3 130,000 26,000 Taste Festivals runs 13 events around the world with additional brand development. Taste was honoured to run the food festival celebrating the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Further international events were launched in Sydney, Auckland and Amsterdam. Chefs that gave their support at the beginning included Pierre Gagnaire and Michel Roux JR. Taste branches out into 2 new cities, faithfully reproducing the proven formula. Taste Festivals were launched internationally in Cape Town, Joburg, Melbourne and Dubai. Taste of London creates the ‘Icon Award’ recognising Joel Robuchon as Taste Icon of the year at the Gala Evening. Taste of London is a sell-out event for the fourth consecutive year, Taste of Milano launches. Taste Festivals plans to launch 4 new Taste events around the globe and forms partnership with Jamie Oliver to run music and food festivals.
