With the development of Fleming’s ™ WiNEPAD , Fleming’s goal was to revolutionize how Guests and associates alike learn about the extensive offering of wines by the glass. To launch this innovative idea, Fleming’s turned to trusted partner, Stratix, for help with deploying the iPad solution. Fleming’s is one of the only national companies to offer an interactive digital wine list. [Reinventing the Wine Experience] As the contemporary iteration of the classic A merican steakhouse, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is at the forefront of both technology and wine. Noted industry-‐wide for its technological advances ™ and offerings, the brand heralds the Fleming’s WiNEPAD launch as the ® evolution of the successful Fleming’s 100 . Not only does the Fleming’s ™ WiNEPAD boast easy-‐to-‐use, intuitive and interactive software, but it also provides label-‐specific tasting notes and, in some cases, the story ™ behind the wine. When it was time to launch Fleming’s WiNEPAD in restaurants, the company looked to Stratix to make the rollout a reality. ™ The plan was to deploy 2000 iPad devices running Fleming’s WiNEPAD to 65 restaurants all at once—introducing the exciting menu improvement with a national celebration. “For our Guests, the Fleming’s WiNEPAD™ takes the guessing [ authorizations ] out of ordering wine. Bringing in Stratix ™ helped lighten the load internally and get the Fleming’s WiNEPAD solution deployed as quickly as possible. With their expertise in m anaging end-‐to-‐end mobile solutions, and their ability to orchestrate collaboration between various teams, Stratix was a natural choice to partner on this project. In fact, in just under six weeks, Stratix deployed 2000 iPad devices to 65 restaurants, and provided valuable provisioning services including device imaging, configuration, testing, custom asset tagging, and kitting of the iPad devices. Since the initial deployment, Stratix continues to deliver lifecycle management services to help Fleming’s realize the most value for their ® technology investment. Devices are tracked using Stratix’s sVision asset management tools, which arm the Fleming’s team with meaningful data about device performance.
