The shops are open throughout the day, but after 6pm, the Pasar Malam (night market) takes over, the road is closed to traffic and the street comes alive with stalls, restaurants and crowds. This street is famous for its all-day parade of sidewalk stalls that sell imitation goods of all sorts from imitation handbags to souvenirs, watches, clothes, herbal remedies and local trinkets. Hours: Tues to Sun 9 am to 7 pm The twin towers located in the heart of the city and are the tallest twin buildings in the world. The Skybridge between the two towers on 41st and 42nd floors is also the highest 2-story bridge in the world. Aquaria KLCC The Aquaria KLCC is an underwater park located beneath the Convention Centre. Featuring 60,000 sq ft in two levels with a 90-metre long underwater tunnel, Aquaria KLCC houses over 250 different species, including different types of sharks, and aquatic animals from around the world. You can even adopt a turtle! Kuala Lumpur Tower Officially opened in August 1996, this 421m tower is reputed to be the highest in Asia and the fourth highest in the world. Visitors can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the Federal Territory and the Klang Valley from its observation deck. Sultan Abdul Samad Building The building is beautiful blend of Victorian and Moorish architecture and is now the venue of the Supreme Court and the High Courts. Kuala Lumpur’s most photographed building, designed by British architect A.C. Norman, was built between 1894 and 1897 and was formerly the Secretariat building for the British administration.
