ANNUAL REPORT
Dear Friends,
Throughout our 28 years of service, we have
journeyed together on a path to break the cycle of
homelessness for women. In fiscal year 2013, we
took another step forward on that path with the
formalization of our Community-Based Housing and
Services.
Community-Based Housing and Services consists
of Alumnae Services and Community-Based
Housing Units. Community-Based Housing Units are
apartments in the community that are owned and
managed by partner landlords. Through established
partnerships, these units come with housing
subsidies and a case manager that allow women to
move into permanent supportive housing. Alumnae
Services is the continuation of case management
services available to former Deborah’s Place
residents who have moved on from Deborah’s Place
into independent housing in the community. Alumnae
Services is designed to help women maintain their
housing stability.
We are excited about this program expansion as it
aligns with our 2013-2017 Strategic Plan priorities of
