“PIT STOP”
1. Are EV’s more attractive then public
transport, walking or bicycling?
2. Why subsidise EV’s when most
people use it to and from work in
areas with well-developed PT?
3. Why must I pay 25 % VAT on
bicycles, even if they are electric?
4. Why must I pay 8 % VAT on PT?
5. There has never been sold so many
SUV’s and big cars as now? EV’s are
mostly car number two or three, why
subsidise more cars?
6. Do we end up as before, with
subsidising big and expensive cars?
7. Do it really change how people
behave and their choice of mobility?

Car-sharing for EV’s
•
Yes and no
•
Status in Norway:
• Move About, the first only EV’s in the world, is moving out.
•
•
Other carsharing organisation has up to now only a few EV’s.
•
Based on the attractiveness of ownership including incentives
it’s not viable when you look at the whole picture.
•
It’s more attractive to own it private and then charge your
employer.
•
Or just own it.
Do I believe in carsharing for EV’s elsewhere?
• It all depends on ………. incentives and restrictions
•
And will it have any impact on the environment?
