Dr Kathleen Turner
Chair - Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) QLD
Dear Kathleen,
It is with pleasure that I invite you and colleagues at the AIBC Queensland who are interested in
attending the Indonesia-Australia Business Summit at the National Convention Centre,
Canberra on 13 November 2015.
The Business Summit will bring together Indonesian and Australian leaders from government
and business including Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb, Indonesian Minister for
Maritime and Fisheries Affairs Susi Pudjiastuti, and Chairman of the Indonesian Investment
Coordination Board Franky Sibarani. A program for the Summit is attached.
The aim of the Summit is to discuss new trade partnership opportunities across Indonesia in
infrastructure, financial services, maritime, tourism and agriculture sectors. Indonesia’s rising
economy and middle class growth offer unprecedented demand for goods and services in all of
these sectors. I encourage you to take this opportunity to meet with senior Indonesian
government and business representatives attending this event from across Indonesia to explore
the significant new trade opportunities available.
Due to limited available seats, I would appreciate it if you could respond this invitation to
indonesiafair2015@gmail.com by 5 November 2015. I welcome your enquiries to Ms. Leni
Sumartanti on (02) 6250 8647.
Following the Summit, I also welcome you to attend a trade fair exhibiting Indonesian products,
a taste of Indonesian culinary and a festival showcasing musical and cultural performances and
fashion on 14-15 November 2015. A flyer for the events is enclosed. More information can also
be obtained at the Indonesia Fair’s link: www.indonesiafair.com.au.
I look forward to hosting you at these timely events for business and facilitating new business
opportunities between Australia and Indonesia. Thank you for your support.
