Jingjin Luxury Outlet an RDM development About the Fingen Group Fingen, founded in 1979, today focuses its business activities in three areas: fashion, retail and real estate. In the fashion field, Fingen has developed licenses for brands of the caliber of CK, CK Jeans, CK Collection, Guess and currently for the Jean Paul Gaultier and KathyVan Zeeland brands. In retail, with Tie Rack Ltd, it has a network of over 300 stores, half of which are situated in major airports around the world. The real estate business is managed by RDM and includes a portfolio and development assets for around 1.3 billion euros. The company is present in Europe and Asia with a staff of over 2,000 members. RDM is Fingen’s real estate company. It currently manages more than twenty developments with a total surface area of more than 610,000 sq.m. RDM acts as a private developer, investing its own equity into its various developments, as well participating in strategic partnerships with internationally recognized companies. Over the years, RDM has established itself as one of the key Italian real estate development companies. It continues to develop and grow domestically and internationally with recent projects in Hungary, Romania, the United States, Turkey and China. It specializes in urban readaptive formats. • Retail centers: RDM is the Italian leader in the development of designer outlet properties, which it has jointly developed with McArthurGlen. At this time, assets of over e 500 million have been developed and are currently under management. In addition to the completed Four Seasons Hotel Firenze and Palazzo Tornabuoni buildings, the company has more than 150,000 sq.m. under development. Palazzo Della Gherardesca Four Seasons Hotel Firenze A 117-room hotel, totalling over 22,000 sq.m., in a late 15th-century building. The building has been completely regenerated inside a 45,000 sq.m. park set in the heart of Florence. The development was painstakingly completed over a four year period and has already been acclaimed as one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. The first outlet will be located in the area of Wuqing, between Beijing and Tianjin, one of the largest and fastest-growing Chinese towns. The concept The Jingjin outlet will be strongly characterized by the Italian style and will focus on the offer of quality merchandise and a fabulous Italian style building design. Important fashion and luxury Italian brands will be involved as retail anchor tenants. This will distinguish RDM’s development from almost all the other outlets currently present in China. The construction style will recall Italian architecture though an open-air town concept. Jingjin Outlet Project The timing Construction work on the Jingjin outlet phase 1 started in 2009, while the opening is forecast to take place in fall/winter 2010. All the other outlet developments will start 12-18 months after the previous one. The development of each outlet will comprise 2-3 separate phases. The investment The Jingjin outlet will require approximately € 50 million total investment for phase 1. RDM is committed to making similar investments to facilitate its development plan throughout China.
