Every year we take pleasure in dedicating Spring for Sound
to someone who has impacted us, inspired us, and supported us
in some unforgettable way. This year we are dedicating our 6th
annual festival to Anna Clune and Alanna Mulligan, whom we
honestly don’t know what we would do without.
Anna, you were there from the beginning, when we had four
bands on the back decks, and we all froze! Thank you for your
years of hard work, dedication, and whole-hearted support.
You’ve helped us grow by gathering and organizing all of our
volunteers, and you do it all with kindness and integrity. We are so
fortunate to have you.
Alanna, thank you for making Spring for Sound look like the rock
star festival it should be. Our posters, program, billboards, tickets,
ads . . . that’s all you! We have never looked better. We are
incredibly lucky to have you. We think you’re a graphical genius.
To the remainder of our executive committee — Graham Stone,
Corey Chapman, and Andrew Stayman — you basically showed
up one day, decided you loved the event, and have not left our
side since. You make it happen, you make it fun. Thank you for
being here for us.
Lots of love,
Mimi and Kristen

NECC STAFF, SPRING 2016
Proceeds from Spring for Sound benefit the
North East Community Center in Millerton, NY
For 26 years, NECC has served the residents of northeastern
Dutchess County. We provide learning opportunities for children,
jobs and support for teenagers, and transportation for senior citizens. We sponsor the Millerton Farmers Market all year long.
And our doors are always open to anyone who needs help.
This July and August, we’ll offer a summer camp and free summer meals for kids. To find out more about these and our many
other activities, visit www.neccmillerton.org.
NECC’s staff thanks the coordinators, musicians, and volunteers of Spring for Sound. Their work makes this amazing day
of music and community possible.
Have a great Spring for Sound!
