LISA BRUNNEGÅRD OUR VISION OF THE FUTURE IN THIS FIELD WILL BE PRESENTED THROUGH : ANN-SOFIE GRANSTRÖM A sparkling shimmer of gold, copper, bronze and silver. Architectural 3D textile for use on walls. A bright mixture of hand knit and machine knite. Mass production made unique and unique made reproducible. Art, craft and design intersecting and working together using old and new techniques, traditional slow craft hand in hand with newtechnology. STEPHANIE PITEL FASEEH SALEEM Jumper chair is a character,a hero. he is like us he has emotions, feelings... The autobiographical dolls portray how your own distinctiveness can be originatingown personal approach. The aim is to re-think your own perceotion in a wider perspective and to break down the pre-conceived idea of discrimination in different cultures. The textile material inherets more than serving one purpose. A multi-functional object is knitted in a three-dimentional structure which gives added quality in its own right. ‘The Bugs’ are bugging me. It seems like I can never escape from these small, everyday, irritating things. So I might as well get used to them. I can create a delicate and rare piece that takes months to finish, and I can make a whole production within hours from my first idea.My piece is a mixture of handicraft and serial production. I knit every flower by hand; the cords are knitted by a machine at school. I hope this piece inspires its owners to creativity, in placing it their own way. The flowers are meant to spread beauty, and brighten the world. In collaboration with the artists Maria Segersäll and Rasmus Sköld ,I explore the contrast between the handmade and the industrially reproducible, the personal and mass produced. Digital textile print makes it possible to create an illusion of three dimensional structure or art such as sketches or paintings on fabric. Art, craft and design intersecting and working together using old and new techniques, traditional slow craft hand in hand with new technology. The rationale is to question oneself that how the circle of eccentricity becomes vast when one moves out of solitary, city, country or culture... The aim of figuring out one’s own individuality is to re-think about one own self in a wider perception and to break the pre conceive idea of discrimination in different cultures. The pieces are symbolic, though representation of finding my identity… Bitarna är symboliska, men representationer av finnandet av min identitet... 2003-2007 Honours 18.09.1984 Karachi/Pakistan MFA in fashion and textile design with specilization in Textile Design Swedish School of Textiles, Boras www.hb.se Post graduation in Art and Design education Beacon house National University, Lahore. www.bnu.edu.pk Bachelor of Design – Textiles – Graduated with distinction May 2007 Beacon house National University, Lahore. www.bnu.edu.pk 4 years academic excellence award Gold medal (first position Bachelors in Textile Design) Distinction in Final Thesis. Hello Bugs Person Date of birth: Place of birth: 85/06/02 Umeå/ Sweden Artistic Education 2009/08/24 BA (Honours) Textile Design Swedish School of Textile, year 3, Borås/ Sweden “The Bugs” are bugging me. They are hunting me like it is their last wish to annoy me. When the coffee machine has run out of coffee and the last square centimeter in the bus is occupied, I feel bugged. It seems like I can never escape from these small, everyday irritating things. I call these things “The Bugs”. The problem is that I will never get rid of them. So I might as well get used to them. TITEL: Hello Bugs “The Bugs” are bugging me.
