It's that time again folks, the Cleveland Labor Day Oktoberfest Car
Show is on September 1st, but Rudi and Joan Kamper advise that
the fun goes all weekend. There will be great food and beer.

Come join us on October 7th. We'll meet at Joan Virostek's for
that second cup of coffee, followed by a short tour through the
Cuyahoga River Valley ending up at Bill and Chris Snyder's for a
Clam Bake, (steak will be available for those who don't eat clams).
Co-coordinated by the Snyders, Truelsons and Joan Virostek.
Flyer to follow in September issue of High Beam.
ORCCCA Holds Grand Classic
Saturday, September 21, 2013
ORCCCA will be holding a Grand Classic on September 21, 2013
in conjunction with the 2013 Glenmoor Gathering. The 2013 Ohio
Grand Classic will be held Saturday, September 21st on the
grounds of the Glenmoor Country Club. This one is a natural, so
be sure to make your plans to attend both events with your
Classic. It's early yet, but please feel free to contact Chris Snyder
with any questions at 330-656-9811.
White Elephant Sale Success
The White Elephant Sale at Margus & Vickie Sweigard's on Sunday,
August 12th was a rousing success. Marcia & Gary Rosenthal
handled auction duties and did a good job of finding the elephants
new homes, all to the benefit of the club.

An Important Reminder
It's that time of year again to remember
an act of kindness by a fellow club
member and submit that person's name
for "The Good Joe Award." Also if you
have someone you would like to
nominate for the "Paige Palmer Award."
For a person who has been a member of
the club for three years or less who has
contributed the most to the club.
Carl Hummel

can I say... it was a good one! A big thank you to our hosts and the weather gods for
providing a beautiful day. The car of the day award appropriately went to Margus &
Vickie's "new" addition, a 1932 Buick 90 sedan.
