The International Eco-label Green Key Passport for a sustainable stay ! on-site inspection and an evaluation by an independent panel. Green Key certified establishments in Brussels : Green Key is an international eco-label awarded to tourist establishments for their environmental processes and performance. In practice, Green Key certified establishments have reduced their ecological footprint: by reducing their energy and water consumption, and waste production; by using more environmentally friendly cleaning products; by offering organic, local, fair trade food products, etc. All without affecting the experience or comfort of their customers, guests or visitors ! Green Key establishments can be identified by the label bearing the Green Key logo in the lobby or at reception. An internationally recognised label of quality Green Key candidates must demonstrate an ambitious environmental policy and meet specific performance criteria as part of a process of continuous improvement.
