TENNIS TEAM UPDATE
Well done team on two great wins!
Monday's (April 11) game against Goldie
Feldman was a tightly contested battle
which ICS eventually won 4-3. Garrett took
home his first win after a nail biting set &
tie breaker. Andrea, William & Francis won
their Singles, too. At the end of Singles the ICS was up 3-2. Then the new Doubles pairing of Laura & Francis showed some great teamwork by closing out
their game 8-5. ICS had an overall win of 4-3.
On Thursday (April 14) ICS played Sarasota Christian away and beat them resoundingly on their own turf 6-1. Everyone took a win somewhere, whether it
was Singles or Doubles and Millington only dropped one game her whole set.

Principals
Reece and Sebastian D.
aka “Principals for the Day”
April 21, 2016
Dear Parents, Students and Staff:
At the ICS GALA: ICS RIVER QUEEN, Dr. Davis offered her job for one day as an auction item. Our parents
bid on the item and we, Reece and Sebastian D., will be “Principals for the Day” on Thursday, April 28,
2016. As principals, we want to be there for the students, so we have decided to change a few of the
rules. The students and teachers will be allowed the following:
1. Students and teachers will have a regular dress out day. Hats can also be worn on this day. Nail
polish can be worn by the girls.
2. Soda can be brought to school for lunch.
3. A small amount of candy can be brought to be eaten in the afternoon at the homeroom teacher’s
discretion.
For our classmates in grades 4 & 8, some extras:
1. Grade 8 will be allowed to chew gum.
2. Grade 4 will have an extra-long recess beginning at 9:45a; and Mrs. Donivan will have a break from
the class.
3. Grade 4 & 8 will have a pizza from Rico’s for lunch with chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
4. Grade 8 will have an extra recess at 12:30p.
5. Grades 4 will have a special treat in the afternoon.
6. Grades 4 & 8 will receive a “HOMEWORK” pass to be used before the end of the year.
We look forward to spending the day in the school office to see what it really is like to be a principal. We
hope your children enjoy a day where the rules are for them.
Sincerely,
Reece
Sebastian
