OCT 29 DELHI (B L D)
Breakfast at hotel, spend the morning in the OLD
DELHI - visiting the Raj Ghat and Jama Masjid. At the
Chandni Chowk board cycle rickshaws and see the sights
& sounds of this busy area with its quaint shops &
ancient gateways. Lunch at local Indian Restaurant.
Afternoon tour in the NEW DELHI – drive pass the
stately government buildings of the British Era designed
by Lutyen’ s, including the Indian Gate & the
Presidential Palace. Continue onto the beautiful
Humayun’ s tomb of the Mughal era.
NOV 04 AGRA (B L D)
After breakfast visit Taj Mahal a monument of love built
by Moguls, an incredible 20,000 workman’ s labored on
it, day and night, for over 20 years. Lunch at a city
restaurant. After lunch visit the Red Fort built by three
generations of Mughal Emperors between 1565 and
1573. Visit Itimad-Ud-Daulah’ s tomb – sometimes
called as baby Taj Mahal, built by Empress Nur Jahan,
daughter-in-law of Emperor Akbar, in memory of her
father Mirza Ghias Beg, grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal,
between 1622-28 AD. Dinner at hotel.
OCT 30 DELHI – UDAIPUR (FLIGHT) (B
L D)
After breakfast, drive to visit the big Minaret of Qutub
Minar. Lunch at a city restaurant. Transfer to airport in
the afternoon and fly to Udaipur. Upon arrival, transfer to
the hotel. Dinner at hotel.

NOV 05 AGRA – JHANSI – KHAJURAHO

After breakfast, transfer to railway station. Depart by
Bhopal Shatabdi to Jhansi. Arrive at Jhansi, meet and
drive to Khajuraho. Lunch at a restaurant, enroute to
Khajuraho. Arrive & Check in at hotel. Dinner at hotel.

OCT 31 UDAIPUR (B L D)
After breakfast, visit the Jagdish Temple and the City
Palace. Proceed for lunch at a city restaurant. In the
afternoon visit «Sahelion ki bari», followed by a visit to
Miniature painting school. Boat ride on Lake Pichola.

NOV 06 KHAJURAHO – VARANASI

After breakfast, visit the famous temples of Khajuraho ancient Centre of the Chandela Dynasty Khajuraho
flourished from 950 to 1050 AD and is famous for these
temples whose intricate sculptures and erotic carvings are
one of the most outstanding achievements of Indian art.
After lunch transfer to airport and depart to Varanasi.
Arrive & transfer to hotel. Then visit the Ghats to see the
Puja ceremony on River Ganges.

NOV 01 UDAIPUR – JAIPUR (COACH) (B

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (appox. 7-8 hours). Lunch
at Mansingh Palace – Ajmer. After lunch continue on

NOV 02 JAIPUR (B L D)
After breakfast depart for Amber Fort (12 kms) - Visit
the imposing Amber fort on the outskirts of the Pink
City. Lunch at the restaurant. Tour of Pink City – visit the
imposing City Palace which now is a museum, the
ancient observatory, the Hawa Mahal - Palace of Winds
and the picturesque bazaars of the walled city. Dinner at
hotel.
NOV 03 JAIPUR – FATEHPUR SIKRI –

After breakfast drive to Agra. (appox. 6 hours). Enroute

Boat-ride on the Ganges River at dawn to see the Hindu
pilgrims flock to the ghats and see a ritual morning bath,
practice yoga and perform 'puja' to the rising sun....all
rituals evolved and derived from thousands of years of
worship and traditions. Walk through the myriad of
narrow lanes in the Old city, past the many ancient
temples, shrines and little shops crammed with customers
looking for the famous silver and gold brocades for
weddings or ever for cremation cloth. The most famous
temple is the Kashi Vishvanath or "Golden" temple,
which though off-limits to non-Hindus, can be seen from
the top floor of the old house opposite it. Visit Sarnath –
it is one of the holies Buddhist sites in world, where
Kathmandu
Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 B.C. Sarnath
has a fine Museum filled with sculptures found at the site.

NOV 08 VARANASI – KATHMANDU
(FLIGHT) (B D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport. Light lunch on board.
Arrive at Kathmandu in the afternoon. Visiting
Kathmandu Durbar Square - a historic seat of royalty
where kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronations
celebrated. It is most impressive sight and is crowded
with ancient temples and palaces reflecting the religious
and cultural life of the people. It is also home to
Kathmandu's Kumari, or 'living goddess', a young girl
believed to be a reincarnation of the goddess Durga.
Then visit Swyambhunath Stupa - one of the world's
most famous Buddhist Chaityas. The 2000-year-old
Chaityas is commonly known as the 'monkey temple'
because of its resident population of monkey. This
spectacular Buddhist Stupa, from which the Buddha's
eyes gaze serenely down, lies on a hilltop only 2 km from
the center of Kathmandu. The views of Kathmandu and
the surrounding valley are superb from here. It was listed
in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list
since1979. Dinner at hotel.

NOV 09 KATHMANDU (B L D)
After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple - situated 5
km east of Kathmandu, the Temple of Lord Shiva,
Pashupatinath, with two tiered golden roof and silver
door is considered one of the holiest shrines for Hindus.
Although only Hindus are allowed inside the temple,
other religion people can see from out of the temple
premises. The temple was listed in the UNESCO World
Heritage Monument list in 1997. Thereafter visit
Bouddhanath Stupa, lies about 8km east of the centre of
Kathmandu. This ancient colossal Stupa is one of the
biggest in the world and the centre of Tibetan Buddhism
in Nepal. It was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage
Site since 1979. After lunch, visit Patan (The City of
Beauty), is situated on the southern bank of the holy river
Bagamti (a tributary of the Ganges) 5 km southeast of
Kathmandu. Nowadays, it has virtually become part of
sub metropolitan Kathmandu. The city is famed for its
wealth of Buddhist and Hindu temples with an
abundance of fine bronze gateways and wonderful
carvings. Patan is known for its expert craftsmen and
metal workers. The Patan Durbar square is full of ancient
palaces, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite
carvings. The Sundari Chowk holds in its center a
masterpiece of stone architecture, the Royal Bath called
Tushahity. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage
Monument List in 1979. Dinner at hotel.
NOV 10 KATHMANDU (B L D)
After breakfast excursion to Dhulikhel (approx. 1 hour
drive): situated at an altitude of approx.1800m / 5500ft
above sea level and 32/20 miles east of Kathmandu City.
It is famous for its vantage location in viewing the
Himalayan ranges from Cho Olyu in the east to
Himalchuli in the west. After lunch, visit Bhaktapur City
which situated at an altitude of 1,401m, known as "City
of Culture" or "Living Heritage". Bhaktapur covers an
area of 4 Sq. miles shaped like a conch-shell. Dinner at
hotel.
