Since decades EWE belongs to Northwest Germany &
seeks for growth potentials in other energy markets

We facilitate growth by means of intelligent and
modern energy-infrastructure
• Since the 1950th we developed
sound and efficient distribution
networks – especially with
regards to gas networks
• EWE contributes to
„Energiewende“ by conversion of
power networks through knowhow transfer and intelligent grid
management
• In 1996 we founded EWE TEL
GmbH – No 1 supplier in NorthGerman of VDSL with own
network capacities

Comprehensive energy efficiency management
serves seven requirements
Appraisal
• Identify efficiency and saving potentials
Project work
• Develop concepts and design measures
Implementation
• Get new installations run
Operations
• Ensure smooth & efficient operations
Controlling
• Review technical and economic performance
Management
Administration
• Develop and adopt the organisation
• Fulfill govermental requirements

Against the background of German „Energiewende“
we look for more dialogue orientated approaches
• Validated Workshop Methodology

Prepare a DIN 16247-Audit through
- four joint workhops
- two informal meetings at company sites
- an accompanying workbook
- individual field visits

We can draw some conclusion…
- If you want to increase the share of renewables
pay attention to the distribution network
- There is no Energiewende without utilisation of
saving potentials in transport sector, buildings
and industry
- There are enormous numbers of low-hanging
fruits: fundamental change starts with
professional organised exchange
