Graffiti Art was extremely busy in the past couple of years, giving itself a makeover inside and
out. By introducing many new products including their very own trademarked line of clothing
made in Canada, their customers are sure to look professional whether the team is in an office
environment or recreational. The renovations have definitely brought attention to downtown
Southern Georgian Bay. With innovative ideas, Graffiti Art tripled sales in 2015.
Large Business of the Year Award:
LabX Media Group Inc.
Since 1995, LabX has been a pioneering digital marketplace targeting a niche audience
of business-to- business buying professionals. In 1999, they relocated back to Midland
from the U.S. where the corporate headquarters currently reside. Over years of dedicated

A Passion for Fashion
A Passion for Fashion will be celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. Nancy and Bill
Spiker decided to settle in Southern Georgian Bay to raise their family and start a business.
Their concept was to provide beautiful fashions at affordable price points and excellent
customer service. After experiencing overwhelming community support at the time of critical
family health issues, Nancy vowed to return their gratitude by creating fundraisers to help
others. True to her commitment, they have raised tens of thousands of dollars over the years
for various hospitals and organizations. Nancy show no sign of slowing down, as they have
recently added a new fundraiser to their list of reputable annual events. On behalf of the
community, it is with pride that we recognize and appreciate A Passion for Fashion for the
long lasting changes to Southern Georgian Bay.
New Business Award:
Forte EPS Solutions
Two years ago, Forte EPS Solutions celebrated their grand opening in this community.
They contracted local tradespeople when establishing the factory and employed local
people when it was ready for production. Forte EPS has created a state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility that produces expanded polystyrene products for the construction
industry. They steam operate and re-cycles 95% of its operation water as well as
re-cycling all offcuts from the polystyrene production. Forte EPS is a positive influence to
Southern Georgian Bay.

Larche Communications Inc. started in 1996 and is based in Midland. Two of their four
studios in Ontario service the Southern Georgian Bay area bringing their customers

Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic
Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic started 12 years ago as a sole proprietor and now has a
staff of 9. With the continued growth and a vision of their own, came the need to
transform an existing building to an exceptional administrative centre closer to the
downtown area. Through their professional customer service, Advanced Foot &
Orthotic Clinic are mentors to their colleagues and to educational institutes. In addition
to improving the lives of individuals, they partner and contribute to many community
groups by getting involved and making a difference. Together Advanced Foot &
Orthotic Clinic is making Southern Georgian Bay a better community with every step

Since 1997, Jaime has worked his magic through his creative professional talent, including at
times, taking artistic risks. He has raised the bar for many events, such as: the Georgian Bay
General Hospital Foundation Gala; the Georgian Bay Musical Theatre Company for the show
RENT; and Big Wigs; to name a few.
Through his connections provincially and internationally, Jaime Crouch is an ambassador for
Southern Georgian Bay. From a single entrepreneur to hired staff, Splash Events Inc. is
experiencing growth. By supporting non-profit organizations, Jaime is highly regarded for his
