an American Hampton’s inspired, waterfront wedding venue for your wedding ceremony and reception.
Conveniently located 5 minutes drive from Mooloolaba Beach, 15 minutes from Maroochydore Airport and just one hour from
Brisbane, the venue is family owned and operated by Kellie and Scott Armstrong, elite hospitality professionals with a combined
40 years in the industry.
Let your journey of exchanging vows begin on either the Waterfront Lawn or Timber Pontoon. These beautiful spaces are positioned
right beside the majestic lake and are reserved exclusively for your nuptials. Our Ceremony Package offers a collection of rustic
options and makes it easy to deliver all the components of your wedding day in one easy location. Alternatively, we are close to
two beautiful Chapels and an easy 5 minute drive to the beaches of Mooloolaba for a seaside ceremony with your toes in the sand.
Following your nuptials, we offer your guests complimentary use of a reserved lounge area on the Waterfront Deck at Brightwater Hotel.
This beautiful space allows your guests to relax and mingle over coffee or a cold beverage whilst you and your bridal party take
advantage of the beautiful spaces around the lake for stunning wedding day photography.
At the commencement of your reception, our wedding concierge will invite your guests to enter The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast
function foyer. The ambient foyer with aged timber floors, stone fireplace and deep comfortable armchairs is a truly warm and
welcoming space. As soft classical music plays and uniformed staff greet your guests, this beautiful room sets the scene for your
very special day.
The fireplace mantle holds an eclectic mix of lakeside décor or you may choose instead to add your own family photographs,
heirlooms and personal mementos. Picture a string trio playing classical sonnets as our wedding concierge welcome your family and
friends with a warm smile.
Turning towards the majestic lake, the weatherproof deck offers sweeping views of the surrounding estate and is an ideal location for
your pre-function beverage and canapé service. As gentle lakeside breezes soothe your guests, our caring staff will serve your selection
of canapés and beverages whilst awaiting the arrival of the bridal party.
The function room is a mix of plush deep carpet, luscious wallpapers, antler chandeliers and an eclectic mix of classic and country
furniture with a slightly distressed finish. With tones in grey, charcoal, slate, black, white, ivory and pewter, this beautiful room provides
the perfect backdrop for your own décor and style and will fit with any colour scheme.

With breathtaking waterfront views and a number of location options for your guests, The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast allows you to
host all the components of your wedding in the one beautiful location. With parking on-site for 100 cars, two stunning lakeside
ceremony locations (and an equally pretty wet weather back up option), complimentary use of a reserved space on the deck of
Brightwater Hotel for your guests after your nuptials, beautiful options for your post ceremony photos and a stunning American
Hamptons inspired wedding reception venue, The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast is your premium wedding day destination.
We will liaise with your Celebrant or Minister on the day to ensure that all the details of your wedding ceremony are delivered. Our
Functions Manager will be there to welcome your guests, settle the Groom’s nerves and fix your skirt as you make your grand entrance.
THE TIMBER PONTOON
THE WATERFRONT LAWN
Nestled beside Brightwater Lake, the Timber Pontoon offers a
rustic option for your on-site wedding ceremony. The space
comfortably caters for up to 18 chairs in two sweet rows and
delivers a wide aisle. Fixed timber seating at the rear offers you
the opportunity of adding your own pretty cushions and décor.
Celebrate your nuptials in front of the iconic fig tree which takes
centre stage in this stunning waterfront location. The level lawn
offers a beautiful space for your guests to mingle and meet
before and after your nuptials. Why not consider adding some
lawn games and enjoy the sunshine!

Food is at the Centre of our Offering
Based on classical French techniques with influences from around the world, the food is produce driven, with a lightness
that suits the Queensland climate.
We buy the best quality ingredients, always local where possible. Seasonal fruit and vegetables arrive from a local supplier
via a network of 14 farms in the South East Queensland region. Our fish is from Mooloolaba and our dairy comes from the
local cows who feed on the fresh green fields of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
The menus have been developed to give plenty of choice to our clients. Dishes and ingredients that are familiar to people,
given a twist or used to create something new by the addition of a favourite spice, modern cooking technique or produce
unique to the region.
With almost all the components of the menus being produced in-house, it give us the ability to customise the menus to
suit dietary or ethnic requests, ensuring every guest becomes a raving fan.
Damien Grimes is our highly valued Executive Chef and personally preps and delivers
all catering from our commercial kitchen at The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast.
With 23 years’ experience in the food industry ranging from large scale catering for 2,000
patrons, country house hotels, Michelin star restaurants and multiple outlets within
the Conran Group, Damien brings with him a wide and varied culinary knowledge.
His broad experience is matched with his ability to adapt food directions and concepts
to different environments and situations.
Damien has developed our event packages to suit a multitude of diverse customer
needs driven by financial, religious and environmental grounds. He has a clear focus
on making The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast catering the best by sourcing the best
available produce. treating it simply and respectfully and then pushing the boundaries
with what event food can be.
Driven by a limitless quest for knowledge, Damien brings fresh new ideas to the venue,
striving to be a little better every day whilst instilling that same philosophy with our
kitchen brigade.
